3 COUPON EXCHANGE PROGRAM Would you like to obtain additional coupons without buying another Sunday paper? Do you feel guilty throwing away coupons that you know you will never use? If so, then our coupon exchange program is here for you! Most likely there are fellow couponers here in Harper Woods who are not using the coupons that you use, while you are not using the coupons that they use. For those unfamiliar with this idea: A coupon swapbox is a way to share/swap coupons with others. By donating your unused/unwanted coupons to the swapbox, you can look through the coupons donated by others. It s simple: just cut out all the Sunday coupons. Bring what you don t want to the Harper Woods Library and place each unwanted coupon behind the appropriate category. All in all, the main point is to help everyone find more of the coupons they want/need. COUPON PROCEDURES: 1. BRING UNWANTED COUPONS THAT ARE ALREADY CLIPPED 2. BRING MANUFACTURER COUPONS ONLY. DO NOT BRING COUPONS THAT HAVE BEEN PRINTED AS WE ARE NOT ABLE TO VERIFY THAT THE COUPONS ARE AUTHENTIC. 3. PLACE YOUR UNWANTED COUPONS IN THE EXCHANGE BOX BEHIND THE APPROPRIATE CATEGORY. 4. TAKE 10 COUPONS OF YOUR CHOOSING ANY TIME YOU DONATE. 5. EXPIRED COUPONS WILL BE MAILED TO OUR SERVICE MEN/WOMEN! Director s Notes We hope you have a chance to participate in our annual Summer Reading Program. Literacy is at the heart of every library and we encourage families to read together. The nurturing and one-on-one attention from parents during reading aloud encourages children to form a positive association with books and reading later in life. To learn more about the importance of reading to children, visit: pbs.org/parents readtogrow.org readingfoundation.org rif.org Take the time to read to your child, the benefits are long lasting.
