They already have midgets Fighting Spirit, will be taking ver the Lewistn Jr. Pirates alng with a junir tier 3 team. Bti price and prgram restructure. 3 state rganizatins ffer free bti When ding budgeting we need t discuss the changes. Marketing/Spnsrs Reprt (Bethany Wilsn): There is still sme gear unclaimed at play it again. There are mugs left Treasurer s Reprt(Sarah Kramlich): Attached are the remaining receivables, YTD P&L, and YTD Balance sheet. I have run the BS and P&L against last year but ur numbers this year are all n target with the budget that we set. A cuple f ntes: We are still missing several expenses related t ice and caching reimbursements s please dn't get t excited abut ur prfit fr the year yet. I expect it t be sub-$50k even withut the new rink in place. Administrative expenses lk high cmpared t last year but that is nly because I bked the $50,000 dnatin t CBA in this fiscal year. Sarah will be meeting with directrs n setting budgets Secretary s Reprt(Jhn Lewandwski) Try Hckey fr free day appeared t be a big success with ver 30 registered attendees as cmpared t 18 fr last fall. I have Pirates tickets t distribute t the caches and players that brught a friend. Need t send a fllw up t attendees Gift Certificate fr skates sent t the mse player Registrar's Reprt (Stephanie Haskins): Credentialing bks. Travel Registrar s Reprt(Jhn Lewandwski): Turney bks were finalized. T many last minute caches certificatins. Need a hard deadline fr caches. Master Ice schedulers reprt (Chris Kennedy): Huse end f regular seasn ice allcated, scheduled, and cnfirmed fr all divisins/levels with exceptin f Peewees and Bantams which we are still wrking thrugh. Tier 4 play-in turney ice allcated, scheduled, and cnfirmed.!2

Bys and Girls Travel end f seasn practice and game ice allcated, scheduled, and cnfirmed. Bys and Girls Travel Try-ut ice allcated, scheduled, and cnfirmed. There will be a schedulers planning meeting t plan arund the new rink. Huse schedulers reprt (Sally-Ann Mrris): All scheduling cmplete fr the year. Squirts and Mites are skating thrugh their year end turnaments, additinally 2 squirt teams that are ging t an away turnament in March have an additinal hur f practice. PWs and Bts have ice in March t take them t away turnaments. The play in scheduling ccupied a lt f ice in February. The timing f the State Tier IV playff required play ins t be scheduled during Feb vacatin week, which was als the week f the Lins turnament and was a challenge. Huskies has asked that the Squirt divisin be divided up due t its size and difficulty scheduling the number f games needed by the turnament dates. The past few years size f the divisin has been t big t give each team 2 games within the time frame between when it is best fr the kids t begin games, we try nt t start during fall sprt seasn, and the date that games have t be cmpleted fr the play in. Als the size f the divisin makes the play in turnament very big. This year it tk 23 hurs f ice and was scheduled int tw weeks, which impacted the ther divisins. The challenge in splitting the divisin is the same as scheduling. S lng as CB teams are in ne divisin, the ther divisin is much smaller and harder t schedule. Travel Scheduler s Reprt (Glenn Jnssn): All travel MeAHA games have been played as f last weekend. March practices fr advancing teams will be set up nce state turnament games are played. BT and PW Valley team practices will be set up this week. Glenn will be leaving the bard There was lts f pushback this year frm travel caches especially as t the differing hurs. Managing exceptins is prblematic. The pssibility f scheduling nly a half seasn at a time was raised. Caching Reprt(Rich Tibbetts): A glitch in the backgrund check system, created sme tense mments as we prepared fr state play-in turnaments. I m nt sure if the issue is/was n ur end r with MeAHA. Smething was nt wrking crrectly during the registratin prcess. USA Hckey Level 4 Clinics have been added t the USAH website sent ut t CBHA caches. I am in the prcess f setting up the 2014/15 caching surveys. I will send ut the link t parents this week. I have sent in a request t hst Level 1, 2 and 3 clinics in the Prtland area next fall. Sean White will take ver as caching directr if elected t the bard next seasn.!3

All infrmatin still needed by Sue Hamlin has been cllected and ed t her (primarily games nt cmpleted as f 2/10 by BT travel teams). Vlunteer sign up sheets fr huse Mites and Squirts end-f-seasn CB Turnaments have been ed t TA's and/r divisin directrs and rink manager cverage is in prgress. Infrmatin abut state turnaments is being distributed t TA's as it cmes in-i am fielding lts f questins abut the end-f-seasn MeAHA turnaments at all levels. I will have a draft lcker rm supervisin plicy with me at tnight's meeting. Wrk n Ngin user's manual is nging. I plan t finish it after the seasn ends and pst it nline. Turnament reprt (Amanda Wdfrd): Mites and Squirt turnaments are this weekend, Friday thrugh Sunday fr Squirts, held primarily at NYA and Saturday and Sunday fr Mites held at FIC. 12 Mite teams: 8 CB, 3 Gladiatrs and 1 MJBB 8 Squirt teams: 6 CB, 1 CMYH and 1 Midcast Schedules are cmplete and have been ed t all caches. Hpefully upladed t the website sn. Rules and tie breaker infrmatin will remain the same as previus years and will be available at the rinks. N t-shirts sld this year, but tables will be set up with vlunteers t sell DD mugs. My plan is t ffer 1st cup free with purchase f mug. Bx O' Je cntains 10 small cffee equivalent s purchase ne t tw each mrning t start and see hw it ges. Rink cverage may be needed frm bard members fr a few hurs each day t assist with current cverage as my "g t peple" (Stephanie and Bethany) are bth away fr their sn's state turnaments. Kristin will cver all f Squirts at NYA but relief fr an hur r tw wuld be nice fr her. Sctt has left the mites in the capable hands if Eric Turgen, hwever I wuld like a current bard member present as well fr rink manager duties as he is als a cach. Webmaster Reprt (Christpher Prinn): Latest additins t the Master Schedule (as f 2:20pm tday) have been upladed t NGIN. Travel Registratin is up and running. Dates and times per divisin have been added and updated n the site. Peridic reminders have been sent ut. Anther reminder t cme next week. Nte: I ve received a few s questining the 3/10 Peewee tryut frm 8:50-9:40pm. Parents are wndering if it s crrect.!4

Cntent updates, feature news stries are being added as I receive them. Bys travel Reprt (Fran Nrris): MeAHA turnament begins next weekend fr all bys travel teams. Travel try uts have been scheduled fr Squirt, Pee Wee, and Bantams. The SQ and PW will be held the week f Mar 10 and the BT will be held the week f Mar 17. The travel selectin prcess will be the same as previus years. We will have 3 nn CBHA evaluatrs and 1 r 2 CBHA evaluatrs fr each divisin. The evaluatin prcess is 3 days fr each divisin. The players yearlng bdy f wrk is nt utilized fr the evaluatin. We are in the prcess f interviewing fr ur skills instructrs fr next seasn and hpe t have decisins finalized within the next mnth r s. Need t return t skills sessins fr travel prgrams Girls hckey reprt (Sctt Matusvich): Big Cngrats t Caches Lee Veilleux, Bb Davis and Dave Brks and the U14 Tier II Girls fr a huge 1-0 win Tday ver the Gladiatrs U14 team t win the State Title and mve n t Reginals. Great game and really gd hckey. U16s lst t a very gd Gladiatr U16 team in the Finals t cap ff a great seasn. U19s Played well but did nt advance t the final game. U12 A and U14 will be ging t Reginals In Auburn March U12 B is wrapping up a very successful fun seasn. Evaluatin dates are set, I expect a influx f sme tp end U16 and U19s as ne f the ther lcal girls prgrams is ging thrugh majr changes. This will nly strengthen ur lder teams and cntinue t add t the strength f ur Girls Prgram Plan fr is fr U19 A and B, U16 A, U14 A pssibly U14 B, U12 A and U12 B. Learn t Play (Matt Gdrich): Last weekend f LTP is March 14th. Heather Geghan has a agreed t take the LTP directr rle. She has a strng hckey backgrund, cached at Russeau Clinics fr years and she is passinate abut the imprtance f LTP. Mites Reprt (Sctt Russeau): Mites are in final week, Seasn End Jambree March 7-8. Schedule cmplete. All Head Caches are ging t meet fr a Seasn After Actin Review f ur seasn, t frmulate what is wrking and where we can imprve in preparatin f a Spring review f ur (Casc Bay) entire BTI/Initiatin/Mites prgram heading int next seasn and the pprtunities ur new rink presents. EP is getting under way this week. Schedule is cmplete. Eric Turgen was at the meeting. He will be assisting with the mites divisin ver the next mnth. Squirts Reprt (Kristin Reynlds): The final events f the seasn are set fr this cming weekend with the Huse turnament, then the seasn will be cmplete. We had a very successful state turnament play-in in early February, despite sme issues regarding standings. Unlike in years' past, ur teams were much mre!5

6 Casc Bay Hckey Assciatin cmpetitive with the Huskies tw teams. Biddefrd's teams had gd galies, but weaker skaters. Huskies have asked t have the Squirt teams play each ther a cuple f times next year. I knw the Huskies have requested/are ging t request that ur teams and theirs/biddefrd be split in the Suthern Divisin because the standings dn't mean anything fr the play-in if we dn't play them during the seasn. This is smething t decide upn this summer, s that when Sally schedules the teams next year, she can get all the games that "cunt" in befre Jan. 31st. The State turnament was in Brewer n February The Predatrs and Wild represented the Suthern Divisin. While neither team made it past the rund rbin stage the teams represented Casc Bay and the divisin did very well in very cmpetitive games. Peewee/bantam reprt (Matt Cliffrd): Peewee play in rund rbin tw weekends ag went well with 2 Casc Bay teams (Bruins & Predatrs) making it t the semi-finals. 2 Huskies teams will represent the Suthern zne at the Peewee Tier 4 State Turnament. Bantam play in rund rbin happened this past weekend & cngratulatins t the Bantam Kings (#1 seed) & Bantam Flames (#2 seed) making it t the Tier 4 Bantam State Turnament this cming weekend at Kent's Hill. Peewee checking clinic scheduled fr tmrrw night & the last week f practices fr peewee & bantam's will ccur this week. Travel tryut dates fr peewee, bantam & girls have been cmmunicated t all peewee & bantam tier 4 teams. Midget Huse/Travel Reprt (Andrew May): Travel tryut dates are set. Wrking n securing a few mre evaluatrs. Plan is fr 1 u18 and 2 u16 teams. Lking fr a new Midget Travel Directr. New Business Issue raised as t whether t create a paid admin psitin t assist with scheduling next seasn. Rachel Pargeter has drafted a lcker rm plicy fr review at a future meeting. Casc bay will rll ut a shulder seasn fr 4 weeks starting late March with pwer skating and skills. It will be cst neutral. Sean white and Kristen Andrews will run the prgram.
