Over the last month, the Vice President, Chuck, and other officers have asked for your participation and support of this event. Hopefully, I can report to you that our club members did step up and support TTCC and our Charity The Zane Foundation. Soon you will have another opportunity to participate and support our Autocross event on July 9 th at Lorain Speedway. Hope to see you at the next Membership meeting on June 5 th at Lakemore Waterworks Park. Tom Geul Membership Report The May 1 meeting at Lakemore Waterworks Park got off to a slow start we finally got the grill going and Dave Hollingsworth was there to cook our hot dogs and kielbasa to perfection. The members brought deviled eggs, several salads, sloppy joes or coney sauce, and lots of desserts. The day had been rainy but the sun came out for a little while, several members drove their Corvettes and we were all dressed appropriately. There were 31 members and our one constant visitor, Bill Bray. We all enjoyed our dinner and the meeting. Upcoming events will be the Car Shows at Beef O Brady s in Brimfield on Saturday, June 3 (see flyer) and the July 29 th Steak Out at Peg Quine s. I am sure a flyer and more information will be in the June or July newsletters. Bill and Diana thanked the membership for their support of the 2 nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner. We had thirty members enjoy the dinner. John and Jeanie prepared the delicious meatballs and the club furnished all the rest of the dinner. Several members brought dessert and Elaine brought fresh baked yeast rolls. We can do it again next year if the club wants to. Our next meeting will be Monday, June 5 th at the Lakemore Waterworks Park on Sanitarium Rd off of Canton Road. Hot dogs and buns are provided. Bring a dish to share and your own beverage. Get the Vette out and GO be sure to Save the Wave. Diana Bray

4 Vice-President Well we have made it through the first five months with rain, rain and more rain. Have you had time to get your plastic horsepower out for a drive and hopefully an event or two? East Ohio has had two days of car shows and a concours. The first show was attended by 8 Tiretown cars and some visitors. The second show, indoors mind you, had three cars and 5 Tiretown entrants. Maybe you thought the weather was going to rain on you, but I can report that Greg Gruhn, Frank & Bonnie Smith and the Heretta s, along with 31 other cars all were safely inside before a drop of rain fell. Enough said of the past. This weekend of June 3 rd and 4 th, there are a dozen car shows. The most important one being June 3 rd in Brimfield at Beef O Brady s. This super Saturday Corvette Show and Corvette Cruise-In is Tiretown s first competition event of the year. Your board has been working on details to make this event run like a well oiled machine. Now, this is where you, as a member, come in. I have asked all year for PARTICIPATION. Now it is your time to step up to the plate and hit it out of the park. Bring your Corvettes, register, dust off the road dirt, and enjoy the cars and people. You may be asked to do some task that day to support the event and Tiretown or maybe not. We are doing this to raise money for The Zane Foundation and awareness of Tiretown to Non-NCCC members. Being a part of this event will touch you deep inside. The next day, there are shows in Canal Fulton. Remember, attending other Clubs events, not only earns NCCC points for you individually and Tiretown as a Club, but also helps draw entrants to our remaining events. As a final thought, I started thinking about s, newsletters, and messages. First, do we have your correct address? Please check with Elaine for correctness. Second, do we actually read and follow through with what the message says to do? With the electronic age well in hand, I believe we all need to be aware of how our communication network works in Tiretown and why we use it. Third, if you have a question or concern, contact one of us, in any manner you choose, to get an answer or clarification to your concern. The whole Club benefits from taking the time. Thanks for taking the time to read this and see you Saturday at Beef O Brady s.
