Ripp, Clerk-Treasurer / s / Committee Recommendation: 9/10/2018 Finance Committee met and recommends due pass Agenda Item Supporting Narrative (list attachments, supporting documents): - Surplus City Assets Exhibit A List item Summary Statement/Department Recommendation: The City has 1 police vehicle, some Public Works vehicles/equipment to surplus and numerous other items including fice equipment that have reached their useful life. This was replaced by a new vehicle in Expenses to maintain this vehicle outweigh the benefit keeping it. The vehicle is no longer needed and is beyond its useful service life for response. Attached is the list items on Exhibit A. Vehicles will be listed on Public Surplus and coordinated by Clerk-Treasurer Mari Ripp and Sergeant Robb Lipp. Recommend approval. Timeline for online sale is October We will be advertising on PublicSurplus.com and link to Craigslist and City website.

2 RESOLUTION NO. 695 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSAL OF CERTAIN INVENTORY ITEMS DEEMED TO BE SURPLUS TO THE REASONABLY FORESEEABLE NEEDS OF THE CITY OF WOODLAND. WHEREAS, certain items equipment belonging to the City Woodland are obsolete and no longer used by the City; and WHEREAS, the value, obsolescence and condition these items inventory make it impractical to trade the same in on future purchases new inventory items from the list assets the City, and to obtain the maximum return for said inventory items, it should be in the best interest the City to dispose the same in a manner that will be to the best advantage to the City Woodland; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council the City Woodland as follows: 1. Based upon the findings and recommendations the City, the items inventory belonging to said City as shown in, attached hereto, are declared to be surplus to the foreseeable needs the City. 2. That it is deemed to be for the common benefit the residents said City to dispose said inventory. 3. That the Mayor is authorized to dispose items listed in, attached hereto, in a manner that will be to the best advantage to the City Woodland.
