Last Night s Game: The Aces concluded their game road trip with a comeback victory and fourgame sweep over Albuquerque on Monday afternoon at Isotopes Park. The Aces overcame a deficit with three runs in the sixth and another in the seventh to seal the firstever sweep of Albuquerque in team history. Albuquerque () grabbed their largest lead of the series with two runs in the first and a single tally in the third. A fielding error by Kyle Jensen preceded three consecutive walks issued by Aces starter Edgar Garcia, the last free pass bringing home the Isotopes first run. Chris Nelson then lofted a sacrifice fly to deep right, pushing Albuquerque s advantage to two. The Aces () saw their deficit lengthened to three when a leadoff double by Ben Paulsen in the third set the stage for a runscoring single from Nelson. Nelson s knock was the last of four hits Garcia surrendered over six innings. The 8yearold righthander sat down the final batters he faced en route to the th quality start thrown by an Aces starter in 7 games this season. While Garcia settled in, the Aces mounted their comeback against Isotopes righthander Shane Carle who cruised through the first five innings. Carle limited the Aces to three hits over five frames, but Mitch Haniger singled with one away in the sixth to ignite the rally. Following Carle s eighth strikeout of the game, Zach Borenstein drew a twoout walk, setting the stage for a runscoring single by Ed Lucas. The twoout base hit knocked Carle out of the game at pitches, as Isotopes skipper Glenallen Hill summoned lefthander Yohan Flande from the bullpen to face Sean Jamieson. The Aces second baseman delivered on an offering from Flande, splitting the gap in leftcenter for a gametying tworun double. Garcia punctuated his outing with his third and final strikeout to close the home half of the sixth, and his offense backed him with a run in the seventh, giving him his third victory. With one away, Mike Freeman reached first safely on a drag bunt. Moments later, the Aces leadoff man showed his wheels again, scoring from first base on an RBI double by Jack Reinheimer. Reno s bullpen kept the onerun lead intact.
