Last Night s Game: Matt Koch lasted into the seventh in his Triple-A debut, but Fresno tallied single runs in the third, sixth, seventh and ninth innings en route to a - win over the Aces on Tuesday night at Greater Nevada Field. ith the loss, the Aces (-) dropped consecutive games for the first time since the All-Star break, while losing the season series against Fresno (-9) for the first time since. Reno struck first against right-hander Mike Hauschild, scoring the game s first run on a double play. The twin killer - off the bat of Kyle Jensen - squandered a bases-loaded, no-out situation, leaving the Aces with a meager run. Fresno pestered Koch for one run in the third on a double play when Nolan Fontana scored ahead of a rundown that ended the inning. Jon Kemmer then gave the visitors the lead in the sixth with a one-out solo shot to deep right, clearing the grass berm. A passed ball in the seventh led to the Grizzlies third run. Andrew Aplin singled to left-center with two away and took second on Dan Rohlfing s first defensive miscue behind the plate, setting up Tyler Heineman s run-scoring single.
