The information in this guide is provided to assist you with planning your upcoming trip to New Orleans. 8 Game Day Operations Team Dugout Baseball Practice Game Uniforms Dressing Room Dugout Supplies The visiting team dugout is located along the first base line (below section 104). See page 19. Tulane baseball will use Rawlings R1 NCAA Practice times are available in Turchin Stadium. To coordinate practice times, please contact Heather Bass, Director of Baseball Operations at (504) Tulane will wear white uniforms on weekdays, Friday, and Saturday. On Sunday, they will wear blue or green. If a dressing room is required, please contact Heather Bass, Director of Baseball Operations at (504) Tulane will provide the visiting team with 10 gallons of Gatorade, cups, ice chest with ice and bags, and 3 towels. Team Bus Parking Gates/Ticket Sales The team bus will be parked on McAlister Ext., directly in front of Riley Student Center. (See page 20). Vans will park in the Rosen Lot (See page 20). Parking will be available in the Rosen Lot (behind the right field fence) for $5.00. The Diboll Complex (see page 20) will be free, and is available 2 hours prior to first pitch. Handicap parking is also available in front of the James Wilson Center, for $5.00 in the Rosen Lot or in the Diboll garage. Gates and ticket sales will open 2 hours prior to scheduled first pitch. 8

9 Game Day Operations Pass Gate Alcoholic Beverage Policy Animal Policy Camera/Camcorder Policy Concessions The visitor s pass gate is located on the third base side adjacent to the James Wilson Athletic Center. For C-USA schools, please refer to the conference policy on the number of complimentary tickets provided to each school. For non-conference games, please refer to the game contract. If you receive complimentary tickets, please complete page 18 and provide to a member of our game management staff upon your arrival to Greer Field at Turchin Stadium Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Louisiana law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Proper identification must be shown to purchase any alcoholic beverage. Alcohol sales cease at the 7th inning stretch Only certified dogs or service dogs in training for guest with disabilities are allowed. All other animals are prohibited. Handheld video camera and still cameras for personal use are allowed inside the stadium. Please be courteous of other guests around you when taking pictures. The equipment may not obstruct the view of other spectators. Monopods and tripods are prohibited. NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED. Toulouse Gourmet is the exclusive concessionaire for Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Greer Field at Turchin Stadium offers a wide variety of food and beverage at many convenient locations across the stadium both temporary and permanent. 9

10 Game Day Operations Distribution of Materials ADA Accessibility Elevator Entrances Re-Entry Merchandise Signage Distribution of leaflets, products, other printed products, and/or performance of services is prohibited. The taking of surveys or otherwise interfering with the free movement of guests is also prohibited. Greer Field at Turchin Stadium meets all structure requirements as stipulated by the American s with Disabilities Act. All levels have elevator access and ADA seating. The only elevator in Greer Field at Turchin Stadium can be used to access Level 100, 200, Suites, and Press Box. Only those patrons with proper credentials can gain access above Level 200. The Main Plaza Gate is used for ticket holders entrance. The Southwest Gate is used for player guests, high school coaches, media, recruits, and will-call. The Northeast Gate is used for students and ticket holders entrance. For your safety, once a person exits the stadium, re-entry is strictly prohibited. The Tulane Green Wave Sports Shop, located inside the James Wilson Center, will be open 2 hours prior to first pitch and will close at scheduled starting game time. There will be several opportunities to purchase merchandise in Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Signage is prohibited inside Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Group Tickets/Party Packages Tulane Athletics is offering Party Packages for the upcoming baseball season. 11 Game Day Operations Restrooms Smoking Suites Umbrellas Three men s/women s restrooms are conveniently located throughout the main concourse of the stadium. Greer Field at Turchin Stadium is a smokefree facility. Smoking is only permitted in the designated area, located outside of the Northeast Gate on Ben Weiner Dr. For suite rentals, please contact the Tulane Ticket Office at (504) 861-WAVE (9283) or visit us online at Tulanegreenwave.com Umbrellas are only permitted for those fans sitting on the top row of the grandstands and bleachers. 11

13 Stadium Policies Fan Conduct Tulane University ask that you be courteous and respectful of those seated around you and refrain from behavior that interferes with other spectators ability to enjoy the game. Game day staff will strive to maintain a fan-friendly environment, free from any of the following behaviors: Using foul, socially unacceptable language, gestures, or behavior Throwing objects onto the field Wearing of obscene/indecent clothing Entering the playing field, or interfering with the progress of the game Refusing to show your ticket stub when asked by a game day representative Attempting to sit in an area other than the one designated by your ticket Excessive standing Smoking outside of a designated smoking area Banned Items Tulane University is dedicated to providing a safe game environment for its fans. Fans entering Greer Field at Turchin Stadium will be screened for banned objects. 21 Driving Directions From the West... (Airport, Metairie, Kenner, Baton Rouge): Exit Interstate 10 East at the Airline/ Tulane/Carrollton exit and follow signs to South Carrollton Avenue. Remain on Carrollton five traffic signals to South Claiborne Avenue and continue past Claiborne to the first u-turn. Make the u-turn and turn right on Claiborne. Remain on Claiborne one traffic signal to Ben Weiner Dr. and turn right. Remain on Ben Weiner Dr. and Greer Field at Turchin Stadium will be immediately on your right. From the East... (Downtown, French Quarter, Slidell): Exit Interstate 10 West at US 90/South Claiborne Avenue (which exits left off the interstate). Remain on Claiborne until you reach Miro St. You will see Turchin Stadium to your left. Take a left on Miro St. (which then turns into Ben Weiner Drive). Remain on Ben Weiner Dr. and Greer Field at Turchin Stadium will be immediately on your right. From Turchin to Interstate 10 East (To Downtown, French Quarter, Slidell) Turn right onto Claiborne Avenue from Ben Weiner Drive. Continue to follow Claiborne Ave. and merge onto I-10 East. From Turchin to Interstate 10 West (To Metairie, Kenner, Baton Rouge) Turn left onto Claiborne Avenue from Ben Weiner Drive. Turn right onto Carrolton Avenue. Then merge right onto I-10 West.
