ERIC AGUILERA broke a 1-1 tie with an RBI single in the top of the 11th...Frisco s other run came on an RBI infield single from MICHAEL O NEILL in the fourth after Arkansas snagged a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third...tyler DAVIS excelled again, firing his seventh quality start in eight tries (7 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K)...Relievers CODY PALMQUIST and NICK GARDEWINE each worked two scoreless innings in relief to help seal the victory. OVERTIME BECOMING ORDINARY: The Riders played into extra frames for a Texas League-leading 13th time last night. The win was just Frisco s fourth in the 13 tries and the second in the last 10 visits to bonus baseball. The Riders haven t had a winning record in extra innings in any of the last four seasons, combining to go in those four years. Frisco is close to passing last year s extra-inning total of 14 games (5-9). The team s single-season record is 18 (2011). JOLT FROM THE ROTATION: The quality start from TYLER DAVIS last night was part of a recent turnaround for the Frisco rotation in the last few weeks. In the last 13 games, Riders starters have racked up a 2.77 ERA and turned in 10 quality starts. Seven of those 13 games have featured seven innings from the starter. The Riders have 46 quality starts in 116 games this season (40%). Last season, the rotation totaled just 35 quality starts in 139 games (25%) DELIVERING A WIN AT DSP: Last night s win was Frisco s first in five tries at Dickey-Stephens Park this season. In North Little Rock In Frisco U-TURN FOR PALMQUIST: Reliever CODY PALMQUIST worked two scoreless innings last night, including an escape of a bases-loaded, two-out jam in the eighth. Palmquist has worked four consecutive scorless outings (5 2/3 innings) in the wake of allowing 14 earned runs in 4 2/3 innings across his previous four appearances. Palmquist is one of a few Riders relievers who are currently working on extended scoreless streaks.
