2 Atlanta Streets Alive, an initiative of Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, is Atlanta s largest free public event that opens 3-5 miles of streets to people of all ages and abilities to walk, run, bike, dance, socialize and play in the streets for a Sunday afternoon. Atlanta Streets Alive connects neighborhoods with local businesses, children with physical activity, neighbors with each other, and provides the broader community with a new experience of their city streets. Inspired by open streets events all over the world, particularly Ciclovia in Bogota Colombia, Atlanta Streets Alive has become one of the largest open streets events in the United States. The largest event yet had an estimated 83,000 people participate, while tens of thousands more learned about the event through extensive media coverage. Atlanta Streets Alive allows brands unique opportunities to engage with thousands of Atlanta-based residents who share values surrounding health, wellness, community, sustainability and active transportation.

4 HEALTH & WELLNESS Atlanta Streets Alive is all about getting people outside and active, exposing participants to new ways to stay active from sports to dance to yoga and more. SUSTAINABILITY Atlanta Streets Alive supports the City s focus on sustainability, making it a car-free event, that encourages people to use alternative transportation particularly by bike or on foot. COMMUNITY Atlanta Streets Alive is a community event, organized in partnership with the neighborhoods and local businesses along the routes, and over 50 activity partners. COMPLETE STREETS Atlanta Streets Alive is a way to envision how our city streets can be transformed into complete streets streets designed for ALL users including walkers, bikers and cars. DIVERSITY Atlanta Streets Alive is one of the most diverse events in Atlanta, with all ages, races, and ethnicities participating. CREATIVITY Atlanta Streets Alive is fun! Activities along the route allow artists, musicians and civic innovators engage with the streets in creative ways.
