Goudsblom Public Present: CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 9:01 a.m. 2. ADOPTION OF MINUTES.1 Minutes of the January 18, 2016 Meeting ( ) Moved by D. Miller, seconded by C. Schafer, that the minutes of the Transportation Advisory Committee meeting held January 18, 2016, be adopted. TAC CARRIED. 3. PRESENTATIONS None. 4. DELEGATIONS.2 Mr. De Fehr, Regarding Street Parking in Front of South Poplar School on Huntington Road Mr. Defehr, provided a verbal presentation regarding on street parking in front of South Poplar School on Huntington Road. Through the Chair representatives from School District No. 34 K. Kass and D. Churchill, also addressed their concerns on the topic and how they are working with City of Abbotsford staff to rectify the issue. Moved by C. Schafer, seconded by P. Smith, that: (1) the delegation of Mr. Defehr, regarding the street parking in front of South Poplar School on Huntington Road, be received; and (2) the Engineering Department staff work with the Bylaws Department, Abbotsford Police Department and School District No. 34 staff to determine potential improvements and report back to the committee. TAC CARRIED. 2

Schafer, that: (1) the delegation of Mr. Kang, regarding the Share Ride Service, be received; and (2) staff invite representatives from Uber to attend a future TAC meeting. TAC CARRIED. 5.
