The Hospitality Suite is in room #320, Carmel Bay, It is a place to gather; it will be stocked with complimentary refreshments. I will try to have the room open (unlocked) most of the time; feel free to use it. If you need to contact me, my cell phone is Auto Repairs: Anyone with car problems is in luck. Ron Rapp s parts supply is a short drive away and a senior mechanic at the local dealership has volunteered to be on call (see Robby).

4 Thursday Rally The rally will begin at 9:00 under the portico in front of the hotel. The route is about 100 miles long and covers many interesting roads, locations and includes two or three unique stops. The rally instructions will be available at 8:30 in the Hospitality Room. It will be easy for the cars to bunch up during the rally, but it is more fun to locate the clues yourself. Have fun. Thursday Rally Lunch The Rally will end at Robby Ackerman s mother s home in Gloucester where Susan and Robby will be hosting lunch between 1:00 and 3:00 (or so). Everyone is welcome at the lunch whether you participate in the rally or not. Directions will be available in the Hospitality Room for anyone who desires to attend the lunch but does not plan to endure the rally. Thursday Welcoming Reception Our Welcoming Reception will be 6:30-9:00 in the center Courtyard of the hotel. Heavy hors d oeuvres will be served and it will be a nice opportunity to catch up with old friends. The Hospitality Room will be open after the reception for those wishing to continue.

9 Friday Lunch Suggestions: Green Course Grill - at the Golden Horseshoe golf course. Casual lunch with a view of the 18th green. The Trellis - Merchants Square; A well known restaurant with excellent food; their Death by Chocolate dessert is fantastic. The Cheese Shop - Merchants Square; Wonderful selection of sandwiches. Paul s Deli - Next to the hotel on Scotland Street. Excellent sandwiches with a college hangout atmosphere. Williamsburg Winery - Eat at the casual Gabriel Archer Tavern and tour/taste wines at one of Virginia s better wineries. Exit the Parkway at the Route 199 exit while returning from Jamestown. Turn onto Route 199W, follow the signs to the winery (first sign about 1.4 miles). College Deli - Next to the hotel at the pie-shaped corner of Scotland Street and Richmond Road. Excellent deli sandwiches with a relaxing patio.

11 Friday Interpretive Walking Tour of the Historic Area. We will meet at 4:00 in the Hotel Lobby for the walking tour. There will be three tour groups of approximately equal size and each group will proceed independently with their own guide. The tour will last about ninety minutes and end in the Historic Area near the Taverns. Tavern Dining Tavern dining is an individual item. Reservations are necessary. I will have a sign-up sheet in the Hospitality Room where those who hold excess reservations can be matched with those in need of reservations. I apologize for these procedures but any other method would have required ordering and paying for the dinner three days in advance. Informal Socializing There are several interesting places to share a beer. The College Deli Patio and Paul s are two suggestions.

The Kingsmill Resort will be in front of you 55.1 Right into the Golf Club Parking lot. Park in the lot on the right.. The picnic is on the Terrace of the KINGSMILL GOLF CLUB. Walk through the Club, you can also shop in the pro shop Let the Picnic Begin Take time to walk through the lobby of the Conference Center to see the view. To depart, Drive back the road you drove in on, return your pass
