Inside this issue: Special Events in July 2-3 Special Events in August 4-5 Special Events in September 6-7 Coming Next Quarter 7 Contact Us 8 Free Free Free This quarter should fit everyone's budget. We are waiving all transportation fees this quarter so sign up quick. With the economy starting to turn up we are making sure everyone who would like to travel with us can. This summer will sizzle at the senior center with exciting shows, lunch trips, and soaking up small doses of summer sun. The center has been making some changes not just for your pocket book, but changes you can see in the west end of the building. Come check out the new oven, floor, security cameras or microwave. Keep watching for more updates around the building Remember the senior center is one cool place to hang out so if the summer sun gets to be too much, be sure to cool down at the center. Special Points of Interest: Luau! Its that time again for our annual summer luau. Bust out the coconut bra and grass skirt and get ready for a hula of a good time. This summer a few of our own seniors will be a part of the entertainment. Watch for familiar faces in the crowd of the Stars and Stripes Ukulele Band! DATE: July 13 TIME: 10:30 AM COST: $5 Page 1
2 Special Events in July Wicked Hobby Center Houston Long before that girl from Kansas arrives in Munchkin land, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One - born with emerald green skin - is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular.
