Dinner Sittings For POW & Scarisbrick: at 5.00 / 5.15 / 5.30 / 5.45 / 6.00 / 6.15 / 6.30 / 6.45 / 7.00pm you will be assigned a dinner time slot for the whole event at check-in, to your choice, subject to availablity on a first come first served basis. This time slot will be put on your Name Tag. Please adhere strictly to your allocated times to avoid queues for yourself and others. Refreshments There are three bars at the venue, and complimentary Iced water will be continuously available from them. There will also be a complimentary Tea & Coffee station laid on all weekend...:-) Happy Hour (in all bars)...reduced bar prices throughout the whole event..:-) and a Tikki Bar on Saturday with subsidised Cocktails courtesy of Malibu...:-) Big appreciation to all the choreographers who have worked with us to make this unique event possible. 2 Venue Information You can check-in from 3.00pm on your day of arrival at the event registration desk. You MAY be able to check-in earlier if your room is ready for you. If not, and you arrive before 3.00, a Left-Luggage area has been organised near reception for your convenience. Please check-out of your room by 10.00am on your leaving day. Again you can use the Left-Luggage area for your cases, etc. if you are not leaving the hotel straight away. If you are arriving later than 5.00pm please call & let us know so that we can make special arrangements to look after you as soon as you do arrive Any difficulties on the day contact us on mobile For those guests staying in the Scarisbrick Hotel. Please Note: We will be laying on an Escort Service from Midnight to 3.00am to walk you safely across the road and back to your hotel...:-) Our Security team and helpers will be on hand to do this every night. DIRECTIONS: By Rail Take the Train to Southport Station. From the station turn left onto Chapel Street and walk to the end of this road. Turn right onto Eastbank Street, you should see the Scarisbrick Hotel straight in front of you. Turn left at the main Traffic lights, and the Prince of Wales hotel is 150 yards on the left hand side (opposite Argos). From Motorway From the South - M6 to J26, take the M58 to Ormskirk, then follow A570 to Southport From the North - M6 to J31, follow the A59 from Preston joining the A565 to Southport Head for the centre and turn left at the Junction with Lord street. This must be worn at ALL times. It is required to enter all the rooms throughout the weekend - and as well as entry checks, there will be occasional ad-hoc spot checks during the day & evening in all rooms. There will be STRICTLY no entry without a tag, and anyone found without one will be asked to leave immediately.

3 Draft Social Timetable Music will overlap - Anything can (and will) be played in all 3 rooms, but as a general guideline: The will be mostly EASIER/COUNTRY with some Intermediate/Mainstream & the occasional Funky/Newline. The will be mostly INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED/FUNKY/NEWLINE with some Intermediate/Mainstream. The will be mainly INTERMEDIATE/MAINSTREAM, until 1.00 after which anything goes/something for everyone... The will be ALL COMERS / ANYTHING GOES...Literally..!. The ballroom will stay open the latest and be an all-comer mix after 1.00am as and when the other rooms close. DEE PLEASE NOTE: All Workshops are 45 minutes Teaching duration (Strictly). This allows time to Empty and Re-Fill the rooms. PREVIEWS of all the dances that will taught each day (in all 3 rooms) will be demo d by their choreographers in the Bamber Ballroom each previous evening at 7.30pm with MC Karl Choreographers have control over their teaching slots within the strict time limits. They may teach 2 dances in some slots depending on the difficulty of the dance and how quickly you learn it...! (If they choose to do 2, only the main dance will be demo d the previous evening). Dance Information Packs (with All the Stepsheets AND Music of ALL dances taught at the event) will be available on USB Flash Drives (Limited quantities available so we strongly advise pre-ordering). A FINAL WORKSHOP TIMETABLE (WITH INFO OF THE DANCE NAMES & LEVELS) WILL BE ISSUED ON ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT.

5 On Themes... (For All Rooms) FRIDAY EVENING have some fun with F L A S HING L I GH TS T S! SATURDAY EVENING On the theme is: HAWAIIAN LUAU PARTY ALOHA HAWAII No Reserved Seating... Normally at our regular Brit style events both Awesome Linedancing & Bossyboots pride ourselves on reserving seats in advance for the weekend for your comfort & convenience We hope you appreciate that this is just not possible at a multi-room event when people will be potentially circulating between 3 rooms during the evening There will therefore be NO reserved seating in any of the rooms at any time... We do apologise in advance if this makes it difficult for any large groups that want to be together, but don t worry, it worked out pretty well last time..:-) For your peace of mind, at the end of each workshop & each evening please ensure you remove ALL your property. The good news is that there is only us in the whole hotel, and access to the rooms will also be monitored. TIP: Dancers familiar with this style of event in the USA know the best approach is to minimise the personal property you bring into the room with you We don t want you to stress about this but it is a very different type of event & the less gear you have to find a place for, the easier it will be for you. If you do need help looking after valuables the DJ s will help you on an ad-hoc basis But no legal responsibility can be taken by them.
