3 About Us Founded in 2011, Barcelona United brings an exceptional, professionally run youth soccer program to Pickerington and Central Ohio. Club directors and coaches have developed a first-class soccer program that includes a professional coaching staff and a professional soccer curriculum. In 2015, Barcelona Ohio and the Pickerington Area Soccer Association (PASA) agreed to collaborate through a facility agreement in which Barcelona Ohio would operate under the name Barcelona United. Under the agreement, PASA will operate the recreational soccer programming in the community and Barcelona Ohio will operate the select soccer programming in the community and surrounding areas under the name of Barcelona United. Barcelona United is a registered 501c3 non-profit in the State of Ohio under the name Barcelona United Foundation Inc. Both organizations will pool their assets, facilities and talents to improve their respective programming. We offer programs year round and for boys and girls players U5 U19. In addition, summer and winter training programs are offered to help develop players throughout the year. This training is available to boys and girls of all skill levels in our community. We are committed to providing an unparalleled experience for all who have an interest in the sport of soccer. We promote the spirit of sportsmanship, the electricity of competition and the importance of pure enjoyment of the game. We provide the opportunity to play developmental and competitive soccer, and specialized training programs to all who participate. All players will learn and have an understanding that they all play an important and vital role in the success of their fellow players, teammates and club in which they represent. Your sponsorship dollars may go towards field & facility development, training equipment, financial aid for qualified players, community initiatives, or offsetting overhead costs thereby allowing us to keep our fees as affordable as possible. Today, you can make an immediate difference in our soccer programming which positively impacts so many families. Why Columbus and the Surrounding Communities? Premier Sports Destination Columbus is well positioned to be one of the leading sports destinations in the United States. As the capital of Ohio and the 15th largest city in the United States, Columbus is located in the heart of the Midwest and within a day s drive (550 miles) of nearly half of the nation s population. Columbus is at the crossroads of interstates 70 (east-west) and 71 (north-south), which makes the city highly accessible by car. 7 Basic Sponsorship Package Barcelona United Sponsorship opportunities start off with our Premier package. Our Premier level package provides businesses a great opportunity to receive a unique level of business exposure. Premier Social Media Ad E-Newsletter Ad Website Ad Price: $1, Premier Package Your business will be spotlighted in our social media and e-newsletters. In addition, a website ad will also be placed on our club website for your business. The Premier Package is our entry-level sponsorship option and is an outstanding way to start our partnership. Add-On Options With the purchase of our Premier Package, your company can have the option of selecting from a number of add-on options to further advertise to potential customers both within and outside of our club. Items like Traditional 4x8 Banners, Feather Flags and Canopy Tents are all utilized for a number of Barcelona United Club Events annually. In addition, opportunities to sponsor specific club items such as our Club Game Ball Sponsor or club-wide activities like our club-wide Pool Party are available with the purchase of the Premier Package. 7

9 Add-On Sponsorship Opportunities Traditional 4x8 Banner Sponsorship Your business can be a huge part of our facility marketing efforts. Traditional 4 x 8 Banners are placed at our very high traffic game facilities. These banners are placed around the site in prime areas to make sure your business is promoted. As a club we play around 500 games per year at our home fields. In addition, our home fields are home to PASA Recreational Soccer, this program caters to over 900 kids each season and every game is played at our home facility. Your advertisement will be seen by the families of over 1500 players from the Central Ohio area. Price: $

10 Feather Flag Sponsorship We offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity for your business to sponsor/advertise on our Feather Flags. These unique, vertical style banners are dual branded with your logo on one side and the Barcelona United logo on the other side. Feather Flags are utilized at our game facilities to promote your business. Annually we host a tournament and play over 500 games at our game facilities. These options combined with other day to day traffic provides your business with an ideal advertising/sponsorship solution. Price: 13 Tall $ or 17 Tall $

11 Canopy Tent Sponsorship Your business may take advantage of our unique Canopy Tent Sponsorship which is a great way to promote your business. Our canopy tents are co-branded with your logo on the right and left peaks and the Barcelona United logo on the front and back peaks. These tents are used throughout the entire year in many outdoor activities (tryouts, games, tournaments, camps, etc.). The Canopy Tent sponsorship can be secured on tents that are 10x10. General Information: 8 Possible Print Locations per canopy. Optional full-wall and half-wall advertising kits available. Pricing: $3, per 10x10 tent Game Ball Sponsorship Each year teams from our club play over 1000 games, at least half of which are home games in which we provide the game ball. This exclusive opportunity will allow your logo to be custom imprinted on 50 game balls that will be provided to our coaching staff for use at all games and scrimmages Price: $2,000 annually 11

13 Presenting Sponsorships Summer & Winter School of Excellence Presenting Sponsors Throughout the year we run in excess of 10 camps that target families U7 U19. These camps are primarily run during the summer and winter months. Your business would be the Presenting Sponsor of our camp series. Our camp series will be referred to as Barcelona United Summer/Winter School of Excellence Presented by Your Business Name. Your hyperlinked logo will be placed at the bottom of any club advertisements and marketing that relates to our camp series. In addition, each camper will be provided a camp tee-shirt that will be co-branded with both your and the Barcelona United logos. We find that campers love a free tee-shirt and as result your business will reap the benefit of 500+ walking billboards! Price: $2,500 per camp season Tryouts Presenting Sponsor Our tryouts are conducted during the last week of May and first week of June every year. Your business would be the Presenting Sponsor of our tryouts. Our tryouts will be referred to as Barcelona United Tryouts Presented by Your Business Name. This advertisement will be included in our marketing, website advertisements, and tryout guide advertisements which will reach in excess of 20,000 people around the greater Columbus area. In addition, each tryout attendee will receive a numbered tee-shirt that will be co-branded with both your and the Barcelona United Logo. In 2017 nearly 900 kids attended our tryout sessions! Price: $6,000 annually Barcelona United Pool Party Presenting Sponsor Each July or August at the end of our conditioning camp Barcelona United gives our families a well earned chance to kick back and cool off poolside. Your hyperlinked logo will be placed at the bottom of any club advertisements and marketing that relates to the event. In addition, your company logo will be placed on signage at the entrance to the pool area. Price: $1,000 annually 13

15 Clothing Sponsorships Uniform Sponsorship This marquis level sponsorship is the highest profile opportunity for your business. At this level, the sponsoring business gains maximum exposure throughout the year. This sponsorship allows you to place your name and/or logo exclusively on all uniforms that are worn by Barcelona United. Barcelona United is made up approximately: 42 teams ranging in age from U8-U youth players Over 1,250 games played throughout Ohio and the United States Price: $20,000 annually (minimum two-year commitment) Coaching Gear Sponsorship Your company can enjoy year-round exposure by sponsoring the Barcelona United coaching staff gear. Your logo and company name will appear on the uniforms of one of the accomplished collections of coaches in the region. Barcelona United s coaching staff includes numerous former collegiate and professional players as well as a number of coaches who represented their country as National Team players. This is great mobile advertising for your business with 30+ staff members wearing your logo to hundreds of Barcelona United games & training sessions as well as other events such as the national coaching convention. Price: $10,000 annually (minimum two-year commitment) Volunteer Shirt Sponsorship Throughout the year we utilize volunteers extensively. These volunteers will be dressed in Barcelona United branded shirts that will also include your logo. This Volunteer Shirt Sponsorship is fantastic mobile advertising and will be used throughout the year at our tryouts, camps, tournaments, club social events, etc. Your sponsorship will include 75 volunteer shirt. 17 Tournament Opportunities Barcelona United currently hosts the United Futbol Cup which caters to boys and girls teams between the ages of U8-U15. Currently, teams that will attend the UFC come from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Our goal is to provide top notch facilities to our members. With that notion in place we must reinvest back into our infrastructure. Unfortunately, every year we do have families that cannot participate due to the rising costs of youth soccer that includes equipment, player fees, uniforms, travel expenses, etc. Every year Barcelona United supports members of the club by helping offset their costs in a variety of ways. Tax deductible donations can be provided to help teams attend tournaments, purchase uniforms or pay player fees.
