Special thanks to Susie & Joel Thompson for the use of their beautiful ranch. What a great job of organizing was done by Kathy Hoffer and Polly Lowry. This trial has become one of the premier California trials due to their hard work. The club annual meeting was held on Sep 27, at Willowside Ranch. Thanks to past president Nicky Riehl and past board member Patsy Galati for organizing the event. Thanks also to Pam Cornell and Willowside Ranch. As always, it was a great event at a great facility. Your new board took office in mid- December. We welcome Billy Trent to the board. Everyone on the board gives time and effort to make the club work and we appreciate everyone who chips in. This is a good time to remember that we all owe a debt of thanks to all the people who make it possible for us to participate in our sport by generously giving of their time and their facilities. I am tempted to write a list, but I will most certainly forget people and I don t want to do that. Thanks to everyone who contributed to our sport this past year. The board is already starting work on trials and events for There will be more information on events as they become available. If you have any ideas for events or ways we can improve existing events, please feel free to contact any of your board members. Their names and contact information are on the club website. And finally a reminder that dues are due. The club s primary purpose is to promote the sport and facilitate stockdog events. Your dues play a big part in helping us do that by paying our small organization costs and larger cost of the liability insurance which is necessary to put on trials, clinics, etc. -Rusty
