Reservations should be made at the front desk on a first-come, first-serve basis. A $5.00 fee will be charged for each child staying in the Kids Zone on Happy Hour Nights. Staff will be provided from 5:45 to 7:45 pm. Children should not be running around in other areas of the clubhouse and they are not permitted in the Adult Happy Hour area. If you plan on staying longer than two hours, we ask that you get a babysitter for your children. The Kids Zone is geared towards stays of less than two hours.

Worthington Hills Garden Club The Worthington Hills Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month at 11:00 am (Social), 11:30 am (Meeting) and 12:00 pm (Lunch), excluding January and July, at the Worthington Hills Country Club. Reservations are due by the Saturday prior including a payment of $20 for visitors. Our programs take place after lunch and cover a wide variety of topics including environmental concerns, flower arranging, keeping our gardens healthy, attracting bees and butterflies, and many more. We have a travel group that visits garden sites and nurseries throughout the central Ohio area, as well as several other interest groups. The August 9 meeting is titled A Celebration of Birdsong and includes both photography and sound recordings of a variety of different birds we may see and hear throughout the year. August Golf Shop Hours August Driving Range Hours Men s Grill Room roper golf attire, tennis attire or fitness attire. Denim jeans. Men are encouraged to remove their hats while sitting in the Men s Grill Room. Indoor Grill Room, Lounge and Bar Areas roper golf and tennis attire. Men should have collared shirts or appropriate pullover. Ladies dresses or sundresses should have appropriate cuts and lengths. Tasteful denim is permitted, except Sunday Brunch, as long as it is not frayed, torn or grunge looking. Business attire is always welcome. Hats, swim wear, t-shirts, gym shorts, sweatpants, hoddie sweatshirts are not permitted in these areas. Sunday Brunch only no denim please. I would like to thank the membership over the last few months on the improving the pace of play. The standard at Worthington Hills is 3 hours and 58 minutes and we have seen an increased awareness to make this goal possible to ensure the entire membership has the opportunity to enjoy the golf course. As a reminder, the expectation is for a round of golf to not exceed 3:58 here at WHCC regardless of skill level. Groups that are starting at 7:30 am to 8:30 am time frame on Saturday and Sunday mornings (are the pace setters for the day) and are expected to play at a pace under the 3:58 time frame. lease remember when you are on the golf course to be aware of your surroundings. The new range mats have been well received and as a reminder will be on the mats at least once a week Tuesday through Friday. The driving range is once again a very popular place this year and I would like to remind members to hit in strips when hitting on the grass. We do not have a huge grass area of teeing space, so this practice helps maximize turf usage throughout the day for all members. As a reminder, the dress code should be followed at all times on the golf course and when using the practice facilities. Shirts must remain tucked in and hats must remain forward at all times for all members, guests and children. I look forward to seeing everyone at the club. The goal of this night is to expose women at the club to the great game of golf and to grow relationships among other members. The most important aspect of this night is to have fun and enjoy a night away from your hectic lives. All players in the Ladies Night group must have a golf membership and are encouraged to create a handicap. There will be fun game each week and winners for each week will be paid in the form of merchandise credit that can be used in the Golf ro Shop. Come on out on Tuesdays, from either 9-11am or 6:30 to 8:30 pm and get introduced to the great game of tennis. We can provide demo racquets for you if you don t already have your own. Since we use the Adult Clinic ackage to bill, you can come as few or as many times as you d like. Fall Tennis Clinc Age Group & Class Descriptions Mighty Mites Ages 3-5 Mini nets and special training balls, which are age appropriate for beginning children, will be used. We will strive to teach teamwork and basic skills as we introduce the children to the game of tennis including a combination of skills and fun games. Future Stars Ages 6-9 Mini-nets and special junior training balls will be used which will help children develop their skills and begin rallying. Games and drills will be used to teach strokes and grips along with techniques of footwork. Using junior training equipment, we will introduce the serve with the aim of having the children rally and enjoy the minitennis experience! Junior Development Ages 10 & Older Students will transition to regulation sized tennis courts with regulation tennis balls. They will be grouped on the court based on age and ability. The focus will continue to be on stroke and technique development and how to use them in a point situation. Bootcamp: This class is designed for those desiring to lose weight, increase cardiovascular fitness and increase muscular strength more efficiently. It is for the beginner to the advanced enthusiast. Workout in a TEAM environment while challenging yourselves with others to reach your personal fitness goals. Cardio Weights: A healthy combination of cardiovascular work and resistance training! This class uses a large variation of equipment and effective movements. FUNctional Training: Functional training is geared toward strengthening your body to allow it to be more efficient in everyday life. The 30 minutes spent developing dynamic strength, flexibility and agility carries over into your daily activities, making life a bit easier.
