Kids Zone Happy Hour Night Policy In order to improve the safety and organization of the Kids Zone area on Friday Happy Hour Nights, we have implemented the following policy. Kids Zone will be restricted to the first 25 children of members. No guests please. Reservations should be made at the front desk on a first-come, first-serve basis. A $5.00 fee will be charged for each child staying in the Kids Zone on Happy Hour Nights. Staff will be provided from 5:45 to 7:45 pm. Children should not be running around in other areas of the clubhouse and they are not permitted in the Adult Happy Hour area. If you plan on staying longer than two hours, we ask that you get a babysitter for your children. The Kids Zone is geared towards stays of less than two hours. Floating Flicks & Pool Cookout Friday, August 12th Movie Zootopia The snack stand will also be featuring a special grill menu from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Movie will begin at dusk.

2 2 CLUBVIEWS Newsletter From the GM We are now in the hot days of summer, but there is still plenty of ways to use the club on the hot days. I would like to thank the membership for their support and sponsorship of the Members Weekend activities. We were able to raise about $63,000 for club improvements. This year WHCC was the host for the Country club swim league championships. The event went off very smoothly thanks to the many hours put in by our committee members Julie Pugh, Will Indest and Ruth Montooth. Also, many members volunteered their time throughout the season to make it go smoothly. Thank you Parents! We have a new summer event planned. An Adult Pool Party on Saturday, August 13th at 5:00 pm. It will feature in-pool games, DJ, bar with shot luge, Mexican buffet, corn hole and more! Have a fun evening at the pool without your kids! Hope to see you all around the club! 3 3 P Golf & Pro Shop News... A Note from the Pro We are on pace for record rounds this year and we have seen our pace of play slow down over the months of May, June and July especially on Friday afternoons, Saturday and Sunday mornings. As a reminder on Saturday and Sunday morning groups that are starting at 7:30 am to 11:00 am tee time frame. The expectation is for a round of golf to not exceed 3:58 here at WHCC regardless of skill level. Groups that are starting at 7:30 am to 8:15 am time frame (are the pace setters for the day) and are expected to play at a pace under the 3:58 time frame. Please remember when you are on the golf course to be aware of your surrounding. A round here at Worthington Hills should not last more than 4 hours. Remember to keep up with the group and in front of you. We have pace play clocks on the water coolers throughout the golf course. These clocks should always read your starting tee time from #1 tee. Please do not adjust the clock to the current time. The driving range is once again a very popular place this year and I would like to remind members to hit in strips. We do not have a huge grass area of teeing space, so this practice helps maximize turf usage throughout the day for all members. As a reminder, the dress code should be followed at all times on the golf course and when using the practice facilities. Shirts must remain tucked in and hats must remain forward at all times for all members, guests and children. I look forward to seeing everyone at the club. Men s Beer and Round Robin Every Wednesday Night Men at all skill levels are encouraged to come out and enjoy a great round robin of tennis. Since we are offering a singles league the same evening, men can choose to play either singles or doubles or both! This event runs all summer and participants get a free beer! Cost: Tennis and the first beer are free! Men s Member Guest Sunday, August 28th There will be a continental breakfast and coffee upon arrival at 8:40 am. Enjoy a competitive round robin of tennis with friends and guest beginning at 9:00 am. We will then enjoy a delicious meal right out on the tennis courts, during which we will hold the awards ceremony.
