We d like to send a special thanks to Gary Dilbert and his grounds crew as well as Chad Gilligan and his team for getting our members out on the course during the frigid month of March.

2 Dear LCC Members, The snow is gone, the birds are chirping, the trees are blooming and the course is open. If you are out of town, it is time to come back! If you are in town, do come to the course for 9 or 18 holes and a meal or cold beverage at the clubhouse. We d like to send a special thanks to Gary Dilbert and his grounds crew as well as Chad Gilligan and his team for getting our members out on the course during the frigid month of March. Because of their hard work, we were actually able to accommodate over two hundred golfers on the course in March. While the grounds and golf crews were gearing up for the golf season, the clubhouse staff was readying the clubhouse, going through training, looking at service standards and welcoming members back to the Club. Although we are still not in full season, we served over seven hundred members and their guests in March. Our dining room has been bustling as members come out to enjoy the culinary team s offerings in the warm, inviting atmosphere that is LCC. While we prepare for season, please pardon our appearance as we make upgrades around property. We will be as discreet as possible so we do not negatively affect your Club experience. It is an exciting time at Losantiville Country Club, and I am very proud of the staff and all they have accomplished. Of course, we could not accomplish anything without our membership. Thank you for your continued support and utilization of LCC. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you at your Club. Cheers, Jennifer. 8 The 2014 Golf Season is Here By Chad Gilligan, PGA Class A Head Golf Professional Some good days in March have brought out a number of players already and we look forward to seeing many more with some great days ahead in April. The Golf Staff is preparing for a great season and we look forward to serving you and making your golf experience a memorable one. The official golf season in Ohio begins on April 1 st which means you must start posting scores as of today. The Tournament season begins this month with the Men s Tournament Club on April 26 th and 27 th with the format of 2 Best Balls of 4, Net, using 90% handicap. The Women s GCWGA Team Play also begins on the morning of April 25 th with the first of the matches being played at LCC. Our first Guest Day will be April 25 th as well, so bring out a guest and enjoy the day at the Club. The Golf Shop is filling up with product and we look forward to assisting you with your golf equipment, apparel, and accessory needs. We will have very competitive pricing on all hard goods and will offer a member discount on all items. The Golf Shop staff will also be very helpful in assisting you with a special order if you do not see the size, color, or style that you desire. Titleist is offering free personalization and free golf balls through a Loyalty Program that runs through April 13 th. If you purchase 3 dozen ProV1 or ProV1x golf balls you will receive one dozen free. You can personalize the balls with an imprint of your name, initials, etc and can select any one or two digit number to be on the balls as well. If you are interested please contact the Golf Shop prior to April 13 th. The Golf Instruction rate and informational pamphlet is available in the Golf Shop and on the website. Steve Krehbiel Assistant Professional Steve Krehbiel, has joined the Professional Staff for 2014. Steve most recently was an Assistant Professional at The Oasis Golf Club in Loveland, Ohio.

9 Steve Krehbiel Assistant Professional Steve Krehbiel, has joined the Professional Staff for Steve most recently was an Assistant Professional at The Oasis Golf Club in Loveland, Ohio. Previously, while a student at The Ohio State University was an intern at Cincinnati Country Club for 3 seasons. Prior to that Steve was a golf operations employee and caddie at Kenwood Country Club. He was born in Cincinnati and grew up in Indian Hill. Steve played on the golf team at Indian Hill High School as well as two seasons with Wittenberg University. Steve enjoys weightlifting, reading, and playing with his dogs while not at LCC. Kevin Kirkpatrick Caddy Master & Outside Operations Supervisor UPCOMING GOLF EVENTS GCWGA Women s Team Play Friday, April 25 th AM Tee-times Guest Day Friday, April 25 th Tee Times Kevin Kirkpatrick has joined the golf operations staff for Kevin previously was the Caddie Master and Outside Operations Supervisor at Cincinnati Country Club for the past 5 seasons. Prior to that Kevin was at TPC River s Bend on the Outside Operations Staff for 9 seasons. Kevin is a retired Social Studies teacher and Golf and Basketball Coach of 30 years at Mt. Healthy High School and Springboro High School. Kevin and his wife Sally have four children and nine grandchildren, live in Mason, and enjoy spending time with family and their pool when he s away from the club. Judd, Asst. Grounds Superintendent Karen Jane McCabe Karen Jane McCabe, is LCC s Horticulturist. Karen has been with LCC since 1998 when she joined our team as a Horticulturist. She has an Associate s degree from Cincinnati State as well as a Bachelor s degree from UC. Karen and her husband Tim have a ten year old son, Dylan, who is in fourth grade. They have traveled quite extensively outside of Cincinnati. Some of Karen s favorite vacations include the Grand Canyon, Denver, Niagara Falls and several Caribbean cruises. She has a beautiful dog named Oscar who is an Aussie-Doodle. Mrs. Fluffy Pants is her cat s name although they call her Fluffy for short. And, to round it all out, Karen s son Dylan has two fish! In their spare time, Karen and her family enjoy going to Red s games, hiking at the Cincinnati Nature Center, taking vacations and going camping once a year. The family s favorite team is the Cincinnati Reds which is a good thing since Karen is a Cincinnati native! When asked what Karen loves the most about LCC, she responded that she enjoys the ever-changing seasons as there is always change happening with all of the plants and flowers on property.
