LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT Dear Members, Improvements are taking place on the golf course. We are adding irrigation heads around greens to improve water efficiency.

The new heads can be adjusted to rotate 360 degrees down to 10 degrees which will allow us to water greens only without watering the surrounds.

The new heads are also more adjustable which will allow us to direct water exactly where it needs to go. We are also replacing the old, bumpy asphalt path on #14 with a new concrete path.

2 LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT Dear Members, Improvements are taking place on the golf course. We are adding irrigation heads around greens to improve water efficiency. Our old irrigation heads rotated full circle which watered the green surrounds every time the greens were watered. The new heads can be adjusted to rotate 360 degrees down to 10 degrees which will allow us to water greens only without watering the surrounds. The surrounds will be watered on a separate program with less water requirements. This will help us save water and eliminate wet spots in the surrounds. The new heads are also more adjustable which will allow us to direct water exactly where it needs to go. We are also replacing the old, bumpy asphalt path on #14 with a new concrete path. The pipe that runs under #17 valley is also being replaced with new pipe. The old pipe was separating every 6 ft. causing hazardous sink holes. The water levels in our ponds have become very low due to insufficient rainfall. You may be lured into these dry reservoirs by all of the golf balls that seem to be there for the taking. Please be advised: the surface may look dry and solid, but the mud underneath is soft and unstable. People have sunk up to their knee caps. We appreciate your patience while these improvement projects are underway, and please do your part to keep our course great by raking foot prints in traps, repairing ball marks, keeping carts on paths whenever possible, and repairing ball marks.
