April Drinks Strawberry Mule Tito s Vodka, fresh lime juice and fresh strawberries shaken and mixed with Crabbie s Ginger Beer. Served in a copper mug. The Purple Jewel Belvedere Vodka, Viniq Liqueur (blend of premium vodka, Moscato, natural fruit flavors) and a splash of champagne. Poured over ice and garnished with a cherry. Canadian Apple Martini Crown Apple Canadian Whiskey shaken with ice, sweet and sour, and a splash of grenadine - served up. Featured Beer Tulsa s own El CuCuy In Latin American cultures, El Cucuy is an imaginary creature of the dark, similar to the boogeyman, which haunts the minds of children and adults alike. El Cucuy India-style Black Ale features dark roasted notes that sneak up on the subdued caramel malt backbone and the irresistible bitterness creating a harmonious and frighteningly delicious balance. But beware, this beer is dry-hopped providing an intensely vibrant floral and citrusy aroma and at 8.6% abv is not a monster to be carelessly dealt with. Be good or the Cucuy will get you! ABV: 8.6 % IBU 80 In Sympathy Our condolences go out to the families of Rhame Wood and Bob Anderson. Rhame passed away March 3rd and Bob passed away March 12th. Rhame and his wife, Betty, had been members at MeadowBrook for many years. Bob and his wife, Sherry, joined as Social members this past September. Also to Marc & Claudette Labonte. Marc s brother, Richard, passed away on March 23rd.

5 Membership Newsletter April 2015 page 5 MeadowLark Sign-Up Procedure MeadowLark, our Men s Member-Guest Tournament, will be held June 3-6, On Friday, April 3rd previous participants have a First Right to secure their spot in the tournament and to choose preferred start times (am/pm/am OR pm/am/ pm). Tuesday, April 7th, all other Golf Members may sign up. Friday, April 10th, Social Members may fill a remaining spot if available. Call or stop by the Golf Shop or Todd at tkinnikin@meadowbrookcc.net beginning April 3rd. Lucky number When signing up for the Tournament, be prepared to select AM/PM/AM or PM/AM/PM for the 8:00am and 1:00 pm start times each day. Ladies Evening Golf Social (LEGS) LEGS will have a Kick-off Mixer on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 6:00 pm. Please join us in our 12th golf season. We look forward to another fun-filled year. All levels of players are welcome from beginners to advanced and anywhere inbetween. Come enjoy a stress free evening of 9 holes of golf, exercise and companionship. Meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. It will surely make you smile a lot more!
