3 RACE REPORTS RACE 1 WINNER SECRET MOVES (8) DAPTO LOYALTY PROGRAM MAIDEN STAKES 520M VERMOUTH (5) & LEE ELECTRONIC (7) came together shortly after the start. SECRET MOVES (8) took the lead entering the first turn and led to the finish. Shortly afterwards DYNA ZULTAN (2) & LEE ELECTRONIC (7) came together causing LEE ELECTRONIC (7) to move out and lose ground. CURACAO (1) & LEICAS MISS (4) came together in the home straight. COMPLETE RUN ON 8,4,1,2,5,7 2 ½ x Head 5.57, 17.56, SWABS TAKEN RACE 2 WINNER EBONY BELLE (8) GREYHOUNDS AS PETS STAKES- GRADE 5 520M ALLEN BARNETT (1) & EBONY BELLE (8) jumped well. STAR BOY (7) was slowest away. MOUNT TERRY (3) & BIG WAL (4) came together in the home straight on the first occasion, shortly afterwards BIG WAL (4) checked off HURRICAN MAE (2). BIG WAL (4) & JEWEL IMPACT (6) came together in the first turn. ALLEN BARNETT (1) checked off the heels of HURRICAN MAE (2) in the turn to the home straight. 4 RACE 3 WINNER STITCH GUN MISS (2) FRIDAY NIGHT BINGO STAKES GRADE 5 297M DELLY S WAY (4) was slowest away. IRISH MODEL (5) checked off the heels of NEEN QUEEN (6) in the turn from the back straight and lost ground dropping back through the field to the rear. STITCH GUN MISS (2) & NEEN QUEEN (6) came together in the turn to the home straight causing NEEN QUEEN (6) to run wide. STITCH GUN MISS (2) & BRINDLE OAKS (3) came together IRISH MODEL (5) No apparent injury. N/A COMPLETE RUN ON 2,3,1,4,7,8,6,5 5.45, Nose x 1 ½ SWABS TAKEN The meeting was abandoned by Stewards at 8:15pm prior to race 4 after a track inspection by the officiating Stewards. It had been raining to some degree at the track for the majority of the afternoon but the track had stood up well and was initially deemed safe to race allowing the meeting to begin. The track was monitored by the officiating Stewards during the course of the meeting, who liaised regularly with the track staff. It rained heavily during races 1 3 and Stewards noted that a of wash outs were appearing at various points on the track. A final inspection between 8:00pm 8:15pm found that there were relatively large wash outs at a of points around the track, with particularly noticeable ones on the area of the 297m, 520m & 600m boxes. After consultation with track staff Stewards decided that no remedial action would be possible to repair the wash outs and with the likelihood of continued rain the track would only deteriorate. It was therefore decided that the meeting should be abandoned and a public announcement was made to that effect Steward s report 4
