Shortly after, ZIPPING BEAU (2) shifted out and collided with ELANTRIS (5), causing ELANTRIS (5) to collided with SJID OSCAR (9). As a result of this incident, SKID OSCAR (9) fell. ZIPPING BEAU (2) lost ground of its own accord, on the home turn finishing a distant last. SKID OSCAR (9) was examined by the veterinary surgeon after the event and no injury was found. ZIPPING BOLT (5) and STONEAGE ROMEO (6) came together, entering the home straight. BACK OFF (3) and ZIPPING BOLT (5) were examined by the veterinary surgeon after the event and no injury was found. Stewards had concerns with the actions of BACK OFF (3) passing the catching pen when the greyhound momentarily lost ground of its own accord. After taking into account the interference suffered just prior, BACK OFF (3) was given the benefit of the doubt for failing to purse the lure, with due commitment. Connections were advised that the performances of the greyhound will be closely monitored for the immediate future. Steward s report 5
