KAZMIC S BELLE [7] hampered off the heels of IRINKA FIONA [8] approaching the turn into the back straight. PRINCE FABLOCH [2] & IRINKA FIONA [8] came together at the turn into the back straight. PRINCE FABLOCH [2] galloped on the heels of BURNETT BOYS [5] in the back straight with PRINCE FABLOCH [2] losing ground colliding with IRINKA FIONA [8] and BURNETT BOYS [5] losing ground sharply and tailing off. 3 RACE 2 LADBROKES BACK YOURSELF STAKES 4 TH / 5 TH GRADE 400M WINNER BROCK ON [2] Won the favourite BROCK ON [2] starting at $2.40. All greyhounds began on equal terms. BROCK ON [2], I M FLABERGASTED [3], TRUE DREAM [4], ROSE OF LUMPINEE [5] & SNOOKER [7] came together at the catching pen with TRUE DREAM [4] losing considerable ground. HIS HIGHNESS [1] hampered off the heels of BROCK ON [2] approaching the turn out of the back straight. QUICK DOLLARS [6] & MISS EXPRESSO [8] came together at the turn out of the back straight. MISS EXPRESSO [8] inclined to want to race towards the outside approaching the home turn checking QUICK DOLLARS [8]. As the lead seven greyhounds were approaching the winning post the last placed greyhound TRUE DREAM [4] was approximately 40 lengths from the lead greyhound BROCK ON [2]. As the last placed greyhound TRUE DREAM [4] entered the home straight TRUE DREAM [4] spotted a rabbit that was sitting on the outside of the track. TRUE DREAM [4] eased in the home straight and commenced to pursue the rabbit to no avail. TRUE DREAM [4] rejoined the track and ran in the opposite direction and stopped where the lure was located adjacent to the 618m starting boxes. At the completion of the race stewards reviewed the video footage of the concluding stages of the race and the head on. Stewards issued all clear as no other greyhound apart from the last placed greyhound TRUE DREAM [4] had been inconvenienced. TRUE DREAM [4] COMPLETE RUN ON failed to finish 3 x ½ [8.43]
