The start of the race was delayed as SANNETTE TRIBUTE [6] tail was exposed at the start and the handler struggled to place the greyhounds door to the closed position. The starter assisted to close the door. SANNETTE TRIBUTE [6] papers were endorsed with hard to box. SASSY BELLA [7] hampered off the heels of SANNETTE TRIBUTE [6] approaching the first turn. OLD STATION ROAD [5] & SANNETTE TRIBUTE [6] came together at the first turn. SANNETTE TRIBUTE [6] lost ground at the first turn colliding with OLD STATION ROAD [5], SASSY BELLA [7] & DECLARED BLACK [8]. The all clear was delayed by 7 minutes as the 4 th placed greyhound DOUGIE KAZAM [8] leaped the outside fence and ran towards the car park located behind the kennel block. Once the greyhound was caught the all clear was given. TIME TO EXCEL [2] was issued with an endorsement for marring in the home straight; this is the greyhound s first offence 28 days at Richmond (rule NR69) and is now subject to the completion of a satisfactory trial prior to competing in any race or qualifying trial.
