3 STEWARDS/CLEARANCE TRIAL 1 400M 2 JIMMY DA GENIUS 358 COMPLETE RUN ON Solo Jimmy Da Genius was trialling in accord with LR 21B having not competed for a period exceeding six months. The greyhound was deemed to have trialled satisfactorily and was cleared to resume racing. Pre race random elect samples are to be obtained from CUBIC INCH Race 2 No. 7, and FLYING STATE Race 11 No. 8 Trainer J McFadyen presented Belmont Belle engaged in Race 11 tonight, without it s registration certificate. After satisfying themselves as to the correct identity of the greyhound, Stewards permitted Belmont Belle to compete under GAR 33(2), however found Mr McFadyen to be in breach of GAR 33(4), and imposed a fine of $100.00

4 RACE REPORTS RACE 1 DAFTERS MEATS CHARMHAVEN MAIDEN 515M WINNER CRISTALLE MAX( 1 ) ALL PAWS( 6 ) was slow to begin. CHEEKY S BOY( 10 ) raced wide in the run to the first turn. In two separate incidents at the first turn, MIMICRY( 2 ) checked ANNDAR ABBEY( 3 ), and THRU THE MILL( 4 ) galloped on the back of ONE FOR MANY( 5 ). From this incident, both runners lost ground sharply, ONE FOR MANY( 5 ) worst affected. COMPLETE RUN ON ¾ x 2 ½

5 RACE 2 TUGGERAH SNAP FITNESS HEAT 1 5 TH GRADE 400M WINNER CUBIC INCH( 7 ) INKJET KEROMA( 1 ) dwelt at the start. INKJET KEROMA( 1 ) raced wide at the turn in to the back straight checking LACHLAN BLACK( 2 ), ZOOM RAH(3 ), and DORADO( 5 ), with all four runners losing ground. Shortly after, ZOOM RAH(3 ) galloped on the back of DORADO( 5 ), losing further ground hampering LACHLAN BLACK( 2 ). COMPLETE RUN ON ½ x CUBIC INCH( 7 ) Pre race random elect

6 RACE 3 PRO DIP GRAPHICS DOYALSON STAKES 0-2 WINS MIXED 600M WINNER EBBY S TIGER( 3 ) BROOKLYN DANCE( 4 ), RAGLAN MISS( 5 ), and SCARLET SCARLET( 6 ) were all slow to begin, with SCARLET SCARLET( 6 ) failing to muster any early speed. SHAKYSU( 8 ) eased approaching the turn out of the back straight, losing ground sharply hampering SCARLET SCARLET( 6 ) when yielding ground. SHAKYSU( 8 ) was vetted with no incapacitation period imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer of SHAKYSU( 8 ) regarding the greyhounds actions approaching the turn out of the back straight. The greyhound is to be presented to the GRNSW vet on course at Maitland this coming Thursday for further inspection, before any decision is made as to what if any action is taken against the greyhound. COMPLETE RUN ON x 1 ¼ Addendum Shakysu was vetted at Maitland 6 July by GRNSW vet Paul Rowland. The greyhound was found to be injured in the off side hip support, groin, and back muscle, and also in the near side shoulder and pin muscle. A 28 Days Certificate was issued. No further action was taken against the greyhound.

7 RACE 4 CRAIGS UPHOLSTERY DOYLO HEAT 2 5 TH GRADE 400M WINNER WHITE SIMBA( 1 ) ARMARTREE BOY( 3 ) struck the running rail at the turn out of the back straight, losing ground hampering DEJA VU( 8 ). Following the running of the race TIDY PEAK( 2 ) collapsed in the catching pen, with catchers commencing compression until the arrival of the vet. Upon the vet s arrival TIDY PEAK( 2 ) had signs of cardiopulmonary arrest and failure, and the greyhound was pronounced deceased. Blood and urine samples were collected sterilely from TIDY PEAK( 2 ). Arrangements have been made for an autopsy to be conducted. TIDY PEAK( 2 ) COMPLETE RUN ON x 1 ¼

8 RACE 5 BOOTHS MOTOR GROUP HEAT 3 5 TH GRADE 400M WINNER RIP MASTERS( 3 ) RIP MASTERS( 3 ) jumped smartly and led throughout. ROCKY FEVER( 8 ) raced wide in the back straight. BIG BOSS KAOS( 2 ) appeared to go amiss in the back straight, losing ground hampering GYPSY FLASH( 4 ) at the turn out of the back straight when yielding ground. SUNNY PITUBI( 5 ) and ROCKY FEVER( 8 ) raced tightly in the home straight. BIG BOSS KAOS( 2 ) was vetted and was found to be injured in the near side groin and back muscle. 14 Days Certificate issued. 9 RACE 6 THRIFTY BARGAIN BIN STAKES 0-2 WINS MIXED 600M WINNER SMOOTH OVER( 5 ) VEGAS ETHICS( 4 ) was slow to begin. VEGAS ETHICS( 4 ) raced wide at the turn out of the home straight hampering FINAL IMPULSE( 9 ). SLICK MAGIC( 2 ) and FINAL IMPULSE( 9 ) came together at the turn in to the back straight, when racing at the rear of the field, losing ground. SLICK MAGIC( 2 ) was vetted with no incapacitation period imposed COMPLETE RUN ON ½ x 5 ¼

10 RACE 7 REMEMBERING MARK BROADHEAD STAKES 0-2 WINS MIXED 600M WINNER MEG S MARVEL( 1 ) OVERFLOW KEROMA( 2 ) was slow to begin. E QUEEN( 4 ) and WORLD EXCITE( 6 ) came together at the turn into the home straight on the first occasion, where WILD ABANDON( 7 ) raced wide. FLASH LOCK( 5 ) galloped on the back of E QUEEN( 4 ) approaching the turn out of the home straight, both losing ground. WILD ABANDON( 7 ) raced wide running through the catching pen, and in the back straight. COMPLETE RUN ON ¾ x 1 ¼

11 RACE 8 GET A DEMON ON IT ¾ GRADE 515M WINNER CHEVY PRINCE( 3 ) PADDY S MAGIC( 6 ) and KIM S LOVE( 8 ) were slow to begin. MIGHTY MUZZA( 7 ) crossed sharply to the rails soon after the start checking CHEVY PRINCE( 3 ), CELEBRATE( 4 ), EXPLOSIVE RANGE( 5 ), and PADDY S MAGIC( 6 ), causing CELEBRATE( 4 ), EXPLOSIVE RANGE( 5 ), and PADDY S MAGIC( 6 ) to lose ground. BLACK JU JU( 1 ) tired in the latter stages of the race after leading to the turn out of the back straight. 12 RACE 9 SNAP FITNESSTUGGERAH HEAT 4 5 TH GRADE 400M WINNER JEP DARK KIDZ( 2 ) JEP DARK KIDZ( 2 ) jumped smartly and led throughout. NOTHING MAJOR( 4 ) jumped smartly and led throughout. OUR PIGGY BANK( 3 ) was checked off the heels of FOR NO ONE( 6 ) at the turn in to the back straight, with OUR PIGGY BANK( 3 ) losing ground from this incident checking BIG RED SUN( 8 ). 13 RACE 10 OVER 35 AND STILL PLAYING HEAT 5 5 TH GRADE 400M WINNER HE CAN YODEL( 7 ) SCOTT NO IDEA( 3 ) raced wide soon after the start checking HOPALONG( 4 ), and MANZANARES( 5 ), with MANZANARES( 5 ) losing ground. SCOTT NO IDEA( 3 ) galloped over the heels of SHAKEY DANCER( 6 ), approaching the turn into the back straight, losing ground checking HOPALONG( 4 ). SCOTT NO IDEA( 3 ) raced wide in the back straight. HOPALONG( 4 ) and MANZANARES( 5 ) collided approaching the winning post. COMPLETE RUN ON x ¾

TOBY S SINS( 3 ) was checked off the heels of BELMONT BELLE( 4 ) approaching the turn in to the back straight, losing ground. TOBY S SINS( 3 ) checked CRUSADER MAGIC( 7 ) at the turn out of the back straight, losing ground. SOOTIE S ME GIRL( 9 ) was checked off the heels of CRUSADER MAGIC( 7 ) approaching at the home turn. WARNINGS/REPRIMANDS/FINES: Mr Barry Howell kennelled LACES OUT in Race 7 and refused to provide the correct quantity of water for kennelling in accordance with GRNSW Race Day Hydration & Hot Weather Policy. This is Mr Howell s 14th non-compliance under Rule 86(ag) regarding the Policy, with the matter already referred for stewards inquiry. Race 11 Trainer J McFadyen $100.00, no registration certificate.
