LUCID( 4 ) checked MAGIC CHIC( 5 ), SKETCHY FINISH( 6 ), and SCREAMING MAGPIE( 8 ) approaching the turn into the back straight, causing MAGIC CHIC( 5 ), and SKETCHY FINISH( 6 ) to lose ground, MAGIC CHIC( 5 ) worst affected. LUCID( 4 ) raced wide at the turn in to the back straight checking SCREAMING MAGPIE( 8 ), which lost ground. SCREAMING MAGPIE( 8 ) went amiss approaching the home turn, with SCREAMING MAGPIE( 8 ) losing ground sharply and tailing out. SPEEDY GALLON( 4 ) raced wide soon after the start checking RENAE S THYME( 5 ). HE S NOT SHIFTY(3 ), and RENAE S THYME( 5 ) came together at the first turn. In two separate incidents running through the catching pen, OVER THE HORIZON( 6 ), and PRINCE FERNO( 8 ) came together, and ROXY MACK FLASH( 3 ) galloped over the heels of NEW BELIEF( 7 ), racing very wide and losing ground. NEW BELIEF( 7 ) checked BROKEN FLIPPA( 4 ) approaching the home turn. OVER THE HORIZON( 6 ), and NEW BELIEF( 7 ) came together at the home turn, where. ROXY MACK FLASH( 3 ) raced wide and continued to race wide in the home straight. OVER THE HORIZON( 6 ), and NEW BELIEF( 7 ) raced tightly nearing the winning post. FASHION QUEEN( 1 ) brushed the running rail at the turn out of the back straight, losing ground from this incident hampering NEVERLAND PIRATE( 7 ). In a post race incident, BLAZIN FLETCH( 2 ), and DOUBLE AYE( 5 ) collided prior to reaching the catching pen, with DOUBLE AYE( 5 ) falling. Stewards spoke to the handler of NEVERLAND PIRATE( 7 ) regarding his greyhounds actions at the winning post. With the benefit of the Finish Lynx, Stewards ascertained that the indiscretion occurred after the winning post and therefore no action taken, albeit informing Mr Neville that the greyhound s future performances will be closely monitored.
