TYPHOON S TARGET (3), SWIFT ALEYCE (5), GOODWIN LUCY (6) and NATE REVENGE (7) checked to varying degrees, on the turn into the back straight. Worst affected was SWIFT ALEYCE (5). NATE REVENGE (7) checked off the heels of GOODWIN LUCY (6). COMPLETE RUN ON ¾ x ¾ 23:24 (11:19) OBSERVANT (1) was locked up at the direction of stewards, for a urine sample to be taken. A post race veterinary examination of RARE QUALITY (7) revealed the greyhound had injured a nearside groin muscle and connections were issued a 14-day incapacitation certificate for the greyhound. EXTERMINATOR (2) and SCHUSTA (3) came together entering the home straight and in the home straight. ANITA MAY (5) was examined by the club s veterinary surgeon after the event and no injury was found. A post race veterinary examination of CAN I TYPO (6) revealed the greyhound had injured a nearside bi-cep muscle and connections were issued a 14-day incapacitation certificate for the greyhound. RACE 6 HARDY S PRECISION EXCAVATION STAKES 5 TH GDE 400M WINNER DYNAMIC GOODWIN (1) DYNAMIC GOODWIN (1) jumped smartly and led all the way. MAGIC CHIC (4) was slow to begin. EL GRAND DEMON (5) hampered MAGIC CHIC (4), on the turn into the back straight. Shortly after, PRODIGY (2) and ZIPPING PRINCE (3) came together losing ground, hampering EL GRAND DEMON (5) and ROOS AHEAD (6). SECRET FLIGHT (8) checked BE BUSTER (6), LOVERS TWIST (5), RAMMY BURGESS (4) and SILKY JILL (3) when crossing to the rails. Worst affected was LOVERS TWIST (5). RAMMY BURGESS (4) and SECRET FLIGHT (8) collided on the home turn, causing RAMMY BURGESS (4) to lose ground. RAMMY BURGESS (4) was examined by the club s veterinary surgeon after the event and no injury was found. A post race veterinary examination of LOVERS TWIST (5) revealed the greyhound had injured an offside hamstring muscle and connections were issued a 28-day incapacitation certificate for the greyhound. COMPLETE RUN ON ¼ x 2 ½ 23:07 (11:17) SAVAGE OTTI (1) was locked up at the direction of stewards, for a urine sample to be taken. RACE 10 STEVE WHALLAND IMAGES STAKES 5 TH GDE 400M WINNER MA CUSHLA (7) MA CUSHLA (7) jumped smartly and led all the way and checked JETHROWTULL (6), YELLOW OAK (5), MISS PASCALEENA (4), SCARLETT S KITTY (3), BLUE RAPID (2) and GO GIRLFRIEND GO (1) when crossing to the rails shortly after the start.
