2 LATE WITHDRAWAL RACE 7 FINAL CHALICE (2) due to a weight variation. Withdrawn At 6.30pm. The greyhound s previous start was at Lismore on at the weight of 28.5kg. Tonight s weight of 27.2kg was unacceptable, as the greyhound was down 1.3kg in weight, making it ineligible to compete under GAR 39 (1). Peter Simpson was charged under GAR 39 (3) and fined the sum of $ FINAL CHALICE (2) issued with a 10-day incapacitation certificate. RACE REPORTS RACE 1 WP ON FACEBOOK STAKES 5 TH GDE 520M WINNER STYLES (1) CHEW THE FAT (4) was slow to begin. WATER BOY (8) hampered HE CAN FLY (7), in the run to the first turn. FLEW BYE YOU (3), FASCINATE JOAN (5) and WATER BOY (8) collided on the first turn, causing FASCINATE JOAN (5) to fall. As a result of this incident, WATER BOY (8) was severely checked and lost valuable ground. MY LAST SHOUT (6) shifted out hampering CHEW THE FAT (4), entering the home straight. 3 RACE ON TWITTER STAKES 5 TH GDE 520M WINNER TORNADO TIME (9) BOGAN BOMBER (4) was slow to begin. BLACK BOMBER (3) and SUBWAY MISS (5) collided, in the run to the first turn. Worst affected was SUBWAY MISS (5). Shortly after, BLUE MOON RISING (7) and HEARTS TO HEARTS (8) came together. BOGAN BOMBER (4), SUBWAY MISS (5) and BLUE MOON RISING (7) collided on the first turn. HEARTS TO HEARTS (8) raced wide, passing the catching pen. BOGAN BOMBER (4) checked off the back of BLOW VALHALLA (1), on the turn into the back straight. ZIPPING BEAU (2) and RED FOUR (4) came together in the run to the first turn, both losing ground. Shortly after, TAKE A SEAT (8) checked STARBURST BASSY (6). TILKUM (1), THOMAS JAY (3), UMATILLA (4), DREAMING TIME (5), MONSTER FISH (7) and INNAMINCKA (8) came together on the first turn, worst affected were DREAMING TIME (5) and MONSTER FISH (7). TILKUM (1) and INNAMINCKA (8) collided, passing the catching pen. INNAMINCKA (8) checked MONSTER FISH (7), on the home turn. UMATILLA (4) checked FAB FIT (6) and hampered DRINK SCHOONERS (2) in the home straight, when crossing to the rails. MONSTER FISH (7) MONSTER FISH (7) Bruised offside pastern. 7-Days. 6 RACE 7 LADBROKES MONTHLY MEDAL HEAT TWO 5 TH GDE 720M WINNER ODNOC TO WINGALA (7) VELOCITY KORINA (1), ODNOC TO WINGALA (7) and FIRE AND SMOKE (8) were slow to begin. TECHNO (3) and ZIPPING OLYMPIA (6) came together on the first turn, worst affected was ZIPPING OLYMPIA (6). FREKEY (4) and ODNOC TO WINGALA (7) came together, entering the home straight. TECHNO (3) and ZIPPING OLYMPIA (6) came together, in the home straight. Robert Cooke, trainer of ZIPPING OLYMPIA (6) was interviewed regarding the greyhound s actions in the home straight. Stewards had concerns that ZIPPING OLYMPIA (6) had turned its head outward towards TECHNO (3), in the home straight on the final occasion. After taking observations and viewing the lateral and head on footage of the event, stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had marred TECHNO (3). Therefore, ZIPPING OLYMPIA (6) was given the benefit of the doubt in regard to marring; Mr Cooke was advised that stewards will continue to monitor the performances of the greyhound for the immediate future. ESKY LID (8) checked RED CALIBRE (6), SIMONE SHIMMERS (3), CICATRIZ (1) and SPLINTERS (9), in the run to the first turn. WILLIE BLUES (4), INFRARED ETHICS (5) and BLAZIN CARTER (7) came together on the first turn, worst affected was INFRARED ETHICS (5). 8 RACE 9 LADBROKES ODDS BOOST STAKES 5 TH GDE 520M WINNER ZINKEY (8) FORTY TWENTY TWO (5) and BUSTED CUSTARD (6) were slow to begin. HEZA GANGSTA (2), MOUNT OXLEY (4), FORTY TWENTY TWO (5), BUSTED CUSTARD (6) and TWISTED LOVE (7) came together on the first turn. Shortly after, FORTY TWENTY TWO (5) checked off the back of MOUNT OXLEY (4) and shifted out and collided with BUSTED CUSTARD (6). MOUNT OXLEY (4) checked off the back of TWISTED LOVE (7), on the turn into the back straight. COSMIC SERIES (3) shifted out entering the home straight, and then tired over the concluding stages after leading. FORTY TWENTY TWO (5) marred COSMIC SERIES (3) outwardly in the home straight. Subsequently, FORTY TWENTY TWO (5) has been disqualified from racing at Wentworth Park for 28 days for marring, under GAR rule 69 (1) (a).the greyhound must now perform a satisfactory trial with two other greyhounds before it can be re-nominated.
