4 RACE REPORTS RACE 1 TATTERSALL S HOTEL CASINO STAKES MAIDEN 420M WINNER LIL BREEZE (7) Shortly after jumping away BLAT BLAT (1) and RUSTY TRICK (2) collided, with BLAT BLAT (1) becoming extremely unbalanced. At a similar stage BOGAN WARRIOR (4) checked off STEFFI S ANGEL (6). Soon after RUSTY TRICK (2) was checked by STEFFI S ANGEL (6). 7 RACE 5 LADBROKES CASH IN STAKES 5 TH GRADE 420M WINNER HALL PASS (3) TOOTHLESS STEVE (5) was a late withdrawal by stewards acting on veterinary advice when the greyhound was found to have ticks. TOOTHLESS STEVE (5) is to undergo a veterinary examination by GWIC appointed veterinary surgeon prior to being permitted to nominate again. Trainer Mr Glen Northfield was interviewed in regards to the presentation of TOOTHLESS STEVE (5) with parasites present. Mr Northfield was officially reprimanded under GAR37(4). DARK TABOO (6) and CUTE GAMBLER (7) collided. Turning into the back straight JEDI RUMBLE (2) checked off LILLY MILO (4). Approaching the home turn DARK TABOO (6) checked off JEDI RUMBLE (2). DARK TABOO (6) underwent a post-race veterinary examination where it was ascertained to have a complicated fracture to the offside hock; as a result the greyhound was humanely euthanased. 8 RACE 6 LADBROKES CASH OUT STAKES 5 TH GRADE 420M WINNER ZIPPING CLARK (6) Shortly after jumping away BOKARM BEAR (4), KINGSBRAE BIDDY (5), ZIPPING CLARK (6) and INDOMINOUS DANE (7) all came together. Approaching the catching pen BOKARM ROSIE (1), LIL MACIE BREEZE (2), RAVEN LOCH (3), BOKARM BEAR (4), and KINGSBRAE BIDDY (5) all came together. Racing down the back straight KINGSBRAE BIDDY (5) knuckled badly, losing considerable ground, RAVEN LOCH (3) was hampered in this incident. At similar stage KINGSBRAE PETER (1) and LY NELLY (8) came together. Approaching the catching pen NEARLY BLUE (3) checked off LY NELLY (8). Turning into the back straight JACKIE S LADY (6) galloped on NEARLY BLUE (3), with NEARLY BLUE (3) being dragged down and JACKIE S LADY (6) knuckling over and almost falling, MISS ARNAKA (2) was also hampered in this incident. SAPPHO (6) underwent a post-race veterinary examination where it was ascertained to have a complicated humeral fracture; as a result the greyhound was humanely euthanised.
