The greyhound was deemed to have trialled satisfactorily, and was cleared to resume racing. With tonight s meeting having Metro Status, and due to the increased prizemoney levels, the winners of Races 5 to 9 inclusive, will be automatically swabbed in accord with GWIC Policy. BONDURANT( 7 ), and TOPPER CERRONE( 8 ) were slow to begin. SUNLIT GRACE( 2 ) impacted the running rail at the first turn, losing ground sharply. TOPPER CERRONE( 8 ) raced wide at the home turn. MY BRO CONNOR( 1 ) raced wide at the first turn hampering DOUBLE TAX( 5 ), and CAWBOURNE OSKA( 8 ). DOUBLE TAX( 5 ), was checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE OSKA( 8 ) on the circle, losing ground sharply hampering CAWBOURNE OSKA( 8 ), and CANNON RUN( 10 ). 12 RACE 9 WINNER ONLY NINETEEN( 1 ) BULLI RACING NEXT MONDAY STAKES 5 TH GRADE 472M Stewards observed the handler of CULLQUIN TYRION( 6 ) experience difficulties boxing the greyhound, delaying the start somewhat. ELITE QUIVER( 5 ), and EASY SLOY BOY( 7 ) were slow to begin. CULLQUIN TYRION( 6 ) lost ground on the circle when racing prominently, and continued to yield ground for the remainder of the race, finishing at the tail of the field. Stewards spoke to the starter post race to ascertain the reason for the delay with the boxing of CULLQUIN TYRION( 6 ). Stewards were informed that the shutter door had closed on the handler, constituting the delay. Stewards took no further action. CULLQUIN TYRION( 6 ) was vetted with no incapacitation period imposed, Stewards spoke to the trainer of CULLQUIN TYRION( 6 ) regarding his greyhounds performance. Mr Sparks expressed his disappointment with the run, and could offer no excuses for the performance. Whilst taking no further action, Stewards informed Mr Sparks that the future performances of CULLQUIN TYRION( 6 ), will be closely monitored.
