2 RACE 7 LATE WITHDRAWALS A veterinary examination of DEVOUR (3) during kennelling revealed the greyhound had injured a nearside back muscle. Acting on veterinary advice the greyhound was withdrawn at 6.45pm and connections were issued with a 10-day incapacitation certificate for the greyhound. The greyhound trialled satisfactorily and is now cleared to race at all tracks, acting under LR21 (b). FROSTY SKY (4) trialled satisfactorily after being issued with a turn in boxes endorsement at Dapto, and is now cleared to race at all tracks with the exception of Dapto. GHETTO PENTHOUSE (2) was thoroughly examined by the veterinary surgeon after not competing for over six months and passed fit to start. The greyhound trialled satisfactorily and is now cleared to race at all tracks, acting under LR21 (b). ALLEN KEV (6) lost ground sharply on the first turn of its own accord and retired from the event shortly after. ALLEN KEV (6) Fractured offside hock 42-days. GUITAR MAN (1) and BLUE GUM MISS (7) came together on the first turn, causing BLUE GUM MISS (7) to lose ground. Shortly after, KOBA (5) and BLUE TELLYTUBBY (7) came together. SUPER BEAST (8) lost ground of its own accord on the first turn, before finishing in last place. On the first turn, GRAND HITMAN (2) raced wide and FLASH HORNET (4) shifted out, causing I M BALLOWS (8) to check. CULLQUIN JAMIE (1) checked off the back of FLASH HORNET (4), on the turn off the back straight. GRAND HITMAN (2) checked off the back of IGGY JAKIT (7), on the home turn. Worst affected were KNOCK ABOUT (4), GREYSYND SOFI (5) and NO FERNANDO (8). GREYSYND SOFI (5) checked NO FERNANDO (8) and KNOCK ABOUT (4), on the home turn. THUNDER ICE (1) shifted out and collided with MASSE (6), entering the home straight. Shortly after, TINY OLIVIA (1) raced wide, causing ALLEN ELWAY (8) to check by racing wider on the track. TINY OLIVIA (1) galloped on the back of ALLEN ELWAY (8), on the turn into the back straight, causing both greyhounds to lose valuable ground. ROBERT VICTOR (5) checked LITTLE NANGAR (1), CORELKO FLYER (4) and ROBERT VICTOR (5) on the first turn, hampering OUR INTEREST (7) and DEMELZA (8). RADIANT RIDGE (3) checked off the back of CANNONBALL (2), on the home turn. OUR INTEREST (7) shifted out, entering the home straight.
