8 RACE 10 WINNER TAKEN KING [8] LADBROKES DAILY VIDEO STAKES 5 TH GRADE 520M It was reported to stewards that as the greyhounds were being removed from the kennels in Race Bay 10, ROCKSTAR ELIZA [5] had vomited in it s kennel and onto the kennel bay floor. The greyhound was examined by the veterinarian and passed fit to race. After consultation with the vet and the trainer of ROCKSTAR ELIZA [5], stewards allowed the greyhound to start in the event. TAKEN KING [8] was slowest to begin. CHIMBU PARK [1] and DOUBLE MACK [2] came together soon after the start. GOOD THUNDER [3] and WHO HA [7] came together approaching the first turn. ROCKSTAR ELIZA [5] drifted wide approaching the first turn, hampering CREDIT ENTRY [6]. GOOD THUNDER [3] checked WHO HA [7] turning into the back. After the event ROCKSTAR ELIZA [5] was locked away for a urine sample to be obtained and stewards interviewed the trainer of ROCKSTAR ELIZA [5] regarding the greyhound vomiting in the kennel.
