SLINGSHOT SASSY (4) veered wide sharply on the home turn and forced HARTLEY HOBBY (2) wider. MACQUARIE PRINCE (6) checked HARTLEY HOBBY (2) at the turn into the home straight. SLINGSHOT SASSY (4) veered out sharply in the home straight and hampered MACQUARIE PRINCE (6) on numerous occasions. Stewards interviewed connections of SLINGSHOT SASSY (4) in regard to its performance from the home turn to the run home. After viewing video footage stewards had no hesitation in deeming that SLINGSHOT SASSY (4) had marred both opponents on numerous occasions from the home turn. As this was the greyhounds second offence for Marring, Rule 69 (2)(b) was applied.
