DESPICABLE SLINK [8] checked KIRA S POLE BOY [4] in the first turn, causing KIRA S POLE BOY [4] to lose ground. SUNNY HOK YIN [2] raced wide turning into the home straight. After leading into the home straight LET S BE SERIOUS [3] lost ground sharply in the home straight. BLAZIN LOGIE [4] shifted out toward LET S BE SERIOUS [3] in the home straight with both greyhounds coming together soon after. Post-race veterinary examination of LET S BE SERIOUS [3] revealed the greyhound had cramped. period of 7 days issued. After speaking with connections of LET S BE SERIOUS [3] regarding the greyhound s performance, stewards issued an Unsatisfactory Performance endorsement against the greyhound under GAR 71 due to cramping. LET S BE SERIOUS [3] is subsequently suspended from racing until completing a satisfactory trial under GAR 72. Stewards spoke with connections of BLAZIN LOGIE [4] regarding the greyhound s actions in the home straight. After viewing the video replay and considering comments from connections, stewards gave the greyhound the benefit of the doubt in regard to marring.
