The greyhound last started on 6/9/18 at the weight of 34.4kgs, and was presented tonight at 36.4kgs, which was unacceptable to Stewards. Trainer P Scott was fined $ per his breach of GAR 39(3). No Trials All winners tonight will be swabbed, with the two minor placegetters from Race 8 The Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase Regional Final, also to be swabbed. With respect to the withdrawals of SNO BO, and DANA PIPER, from Race 9, and FIDGET BALE, and QUEEN OLLIE, from Race 10, Stewards spoke to the respective trainers A Fahey, and A Gould, at Wagga on Thursday. Stewards were mindful of the excessive nomination of all four greyhounds, with each greyhound being nominated and drawn at Wagga 14/9, Temora 16/9, Wagga 20/9, Cowra 22/9, and again at today s meeting. Stewards informed both trainers that it was their intention to enact GAR 20(4)(b) and withdraw all four greyhounds from today s meeting. Stewards are also aware that subsequent to the conversation on Thursday, all four greyhounds were scratched from their engagements at yesterday s Cowra meeting. As tonight s meeting was graded as Category D per GRNSW Policy, BANJO BAD BOY Race 1 No.1,was eligible to compete despite being a first starter, and without having undertaken a Performance Trial. 3 RACE REPORTS RACE 1 NSW GBOTA MAIDEN 330M WINNER SYCAMORE LOU LOU( 7 ) MAGIC BLAZE( 2 ) began quickly. SPIN AN WIN( 8 ) was slow to begin. SWANKY GOOSE( 4 ) was checked off the heels of ROBERT VICTOR( 3 ) in the run to the first turn. SWANKY GOOSE( 4 ) was checked off the heels of LOST AT NIGHT( 6 ), at the first turn,losing ground from this incident hampering SWANKY NICK( 5 ). ROBERT VICTOR( 3 ) checked BANJO BAD BOY( 1 ) on the circle, causing BANJO BAD BOY( 1 ) to lose ground hampering LOST AT NIGHT( 6 ). SPIN AN WIN( 8 ) raced very wide at the home turn. 4 RACE 2 WHITES SHOEX MAIDEN 330M WINNER MASTER MAY( 1 ) VERMILLION FIRE( 2 ), and DAWN STORM( 5 ), were slow to begin. BOOK MAKER( 8 ), in attempting to cross to the rails at the first turn checked SPRING FEVER( 3 ), and LOCO LION( 4 ). From this incident, both runners lost ground sharply, SPRING FEVER( 3 ) worst affected almost falling, hampering DAWN STORM( 5 ), INDIGO SUMMER( 6 ), and JASON S CHANCE( 7 ), which also lost ground. JASON S CHANCE( 7 ) galloped on the back of INDIGO SUMMER( 6 ), on the circle, with INDIGO SUMMER( 6 ), losing further ground. LOCO LION( 4 ), raced wide in the home straight hampering DAWN STORM( 5 ), and JASON S CHANCE( 7 ). From this incident, all four runners lost considerable ground, DANA CORPORAL( 6 ), and BOMBSHELL BANDIT( 7 ), worst affected. ZIPPING CLIVE( 2 ) galloped on the back of TRIP ACES( 3 ) at the first turn, causing both runners to lose ground sharply, colliding with TRIP ACES( 3 ), MALLEE CHAS( 6 ), CORLEONE KID( 7 ), and HIPPO CLAN( 8 ). From this incident, all six runners lost considerable ground, MY BRO KADE( 9 ), worst affected falling, allowing NANGAR GIFT( 1 ), and METALLIC FLASH( 5 ), to establish a sizeable break on the rest of the field. METALLIC FLASH( 5 ), raced wide at the home turn, and in the home straight. LONDON TOM( 7 ) in crossing to the lead on the circle, checked DANA PHANTOM( 2 ), which lost ground hampering DUSTY HOOROO( 4 ), and HEZA SAINT( 8 ). BOGAN BOMBER( 6 ) was checked off the heels of NANGAR JACK( 4 ), approaching the first turn, losing ground. NANGAR JACK( 4 ) raced wide at the first turn checking SPRING JAZZ( 7 ), with the same two greyhounds coming together on the circle, with NANGAR JACK( 4 ), losing ground. SMITH( 1 ), raced wide abruptly at the home turn, severely hampering NANGAR JACK( 4 ), and ZIPPING MACK( 5 ), causing all three runners to lose considerable ground. PROUD PHOENIX( 5 ), checked CHATTA POOCHIE( 4 ), approaching the first turn, with CHATTA POOCHIE( 4 ), losing ground hampering DANA JILL( 1 ), and ROCKSTAR SHANTAE( 3 ). Shortly after, PROUD PHOENIX( 5 ), raced wide checking LOUNGE LIZARD( 7 ), causing LOUNGE LIZARD( 7 ) to lose ground checking DANA BEATLE( 6 ), and LAST CHOIR( 10 ).
