In a separate incident ZIPPING TRICKY (3) galloped on the heels of DURAMA DELIGHT (4) on the turn out of the back straight. Stewards spoke with Connections of BUGATTI MONACH (1) regarding the greyhounds action in the home straight. Mark Knowles agreed with Stewards observations that BUGATTI MONACH (1) made head/muzzle contact with ZIPPING TRICKY (1) in the home straight. Stewards subsequently issued a marring endorsement against BUGATTI MONACH (1) under GAR 69. As this is the greyhounds 1st offence, BUGATTI MONACH is suspended from racing at Bathurst for 28 days and until completing a satisfactory trial Under GAR72. A Post race veterinary examination of BANCROFT (8) revealed no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Connections of BANCROFT (8) regarding the greyhounds performance. After viewing the video replay and considering submissions from the connections, Stewards issued an Unsatisfactory Performance endorsement against BANCROFT (8) under GAR 71. Stewards spoke with trainer of SLIPPERY GANT (1) regarding the greyhounds action in the home straight. Trainer DAVID GRANT agreed with Stewards observations that SLIPPERY GRANT (1) made head/muzzle contact with NANDOR JUNIOR (3) in the home straight. Stewards subsequently issued a marring endorsement against SLIPPERY GRANT (1) under GAR 69.
