Greyhound issued with 10-day incapacitation and trainer Mr Allan Woods fined $100 for a breach of GAR39(3). 6 AMAYA (5) withdrawn during kennelling on vets advice after it was identified the greyhound was displaying signs of sickness. 10-day incapacitation issued. 6 LEN S HONOUR (4) withdrawn at 17:10pm on vets advice after it was found to have an injured offside groin. 10-day incapacitation issued. 4 RACE 1 RACE REPORTS WELCOME TO NEWCASTLE GREYHOUNDS MAIDEN 515m SISTER PETRINA (6) shifted out at the start, meanwhile SON OF CITY (4) and ZIPPING JODIE (5) were hampered when EZE MAY (7) and WALLAN BABY (8) crossed. CENTREFIRE DOLL (2) hampered SILVER CROSS (1) approaching the first turn. EZE MAY (7) yielded ground at the first turn. SON OF CITY (4) broke down at the first turn. SISTER PETRINA (6) was wide at the first turn and again at the home turn. SON OF CITY (4) was vetted and found to have an injured offside hock for which a 56-day incapacitation was issued. COMPLETE RUN ON (4 FTF) 5 ¾ x 1 ½ (5.01, 17.44) RACE 2 NEWCASTLE GREYHOUNDS MAIDEN 400m CIMMARON REBEL (3) was slow out. RAMBO ROCK (2), MONDO ROCK (6) and ABDULLAH DIXIE (9) were checked at the first turn and all lost ground, with CIMMARON REBEL (3) hampered. ELL S BELLE (8) weakened after leading to the home turn. COMPLETE RUN ON ½ x 1 ¾ (11.15) SKY MAGIC (7) direction of stewards RACE 3 NEWCASTLE GREYHOUNDS STAKES 5 th Grade 400m SUNSET RANGER (1), GEE FOR GINGER (4), CHERYL S SHAK (6), LADY JAY (7) and MYALLA NITRO (8) were all checked at the first turn and all lost ground, with CHERYL S SHAK (6) and LADY JAY (7) worst affected and that pair then lost a lot of ground when turning out of the back after a further incident of interference. CHERYL S SHAK (6) was vetted with no injury found. LADY JAY (7) was vetted and found to have an injured offside groin for which a 14-day incapacitation was issued. 5 RACE 4 NEWCASTLE GREYHOUNDS STAKES 5 th Grade 400m CAPTAIN JESS (3), WAY TO GO (4) and SARINA TOKAAM (5) were checked at the first turn and all lost ground. EL HOMBRE (6) weakened after leading to the home turn. COMPLETE RUN ON x NS (11.09) RACE 5 NEWCASTLE GREYHOUNDS STAKES 5 th Grade 515m GRACIE SEE MORE (7) and DERONIMO (6) were checked shortly after the start as LORNA BELLE (8) shifted towards the rail. Turning in to the back straight, LORNA BELLE (8) galloped on the heels of NINJA FUSION (1) with LORNA BELLE (8) falling as a result, and DERONIMO (6) was hampered. LORNA BELLE (8) was vetted with no injury found. COMPLETE RUN ON (8 Fell) HD x ¾ (4.96, 17.51) SWEET ODESSA (3) direction of stewards RACE 6 STAKES 5 th Grade 600m When greyhounds were being retrieved from kennelling in preparation for this race, a veterinary examination of LEN S HONOUR (4) revealed an injured nearside groin, with the greyhound withdrawn at 5:10pm on vets advice and issued with a 10-day incapacitation. TROPICAL LOW (7) was slow to begin before racing wide turning in to the home straight on the first occasion. When turning out of the home straight, TARAWI THUNDER (2) galloped across the heels of GO YOU GOODWIN (6). Turning out of the back straight, ZIPPING PHOEBE (1) checked off the heels of GO YOU GOODWIN (6). COMPLETE RUN ON ½ x ½ (9.67, 22.49) GO YOU GOODWIN (6) direction of stewards

6 RACE 7 NEWCASTLE GREYHOUNDS STAKES 5 th Grade 515m MISS FICTION (9) shifted out at the start causing SILKY JILL (3) and JUST LIKE DIOR (4) to be checked, with that trio then losing ground to the rear. VANDER LEE (1) checked across heels of SUGAR HIT HEIDI (7) when passing the catching pen and lost ground, with VANDER LEE (1) continuing to lose ground in the back straight, as did ALL ABOUT LEGEND (6). MISS FICTION (9) started surging from the rear when turning out of the back but got held up and blocked for a run when POWERS ON (5) and ALL ABOUT LEGEND (6) became checked at the home turn. KALIMBA JAZ (8) checked across heels of SUGAR HIT HEIDI (7) at the home turn. COMPLETE RUN ON x NK (5.03, 17.72) RACE 8 LIKE US ON FACEBOOK STAKES 4/5 th Grade 515m SECRET TOUCH (6), ARCHER JOHN (7) and INTERROGATED (8) came together soon after the start. The field bunched at the first turn where PERCY CLUMP (2), ODD SOX (3), GAUGE THIS (4) and INTERROGATED (8) became hampered, with KISS ME WENCH (5) and SECRET TOUCH (6) bumping in the lead. The field bunched again in the back straight, where HAZEL ROBBO (1), SECRET TOUCH (6) and ARCHER JOHN (7) were checked and lost ground, with PERCY CLUMP (2) hampered. HAZEL ROBBO (1) and GAUGE THIS (4) collided when entering the home straight. COMPLETE RUN ON ¾ x (4.98, 17.83) RACE 9 STAKES 4/5 th Grade 400m The field bunched into the first turn where MACOREKA (2), WUSSELL (3), SILVER STEEL (4), BIG TEE ONYX (5) and MAKE MAGIC (7) were all checked and lost ground, with WUSSELL (3) and BIG TEE ONYX (5) checked again when turning into the back and they lost further ground and caused SILVER STEEL (4) to be hampered. KISS ME HUGHIE (6) got across heels of WEEKEND WES (8) in the back straight and lost ground, and then caused MACOREKA (2) to be checked. MACOREKA (2) and KISS ME HUGHIE (6) bumped when entering the home straight. WUSSELL (3) was vetted and found to have an injured offside pin muscle for which a 14-day incapacitation was issued. 7 RACE 10 NEWCASTLE GREYHOUNDS STAKES 5 th Grade 400m LITTLE OSCA (3) began well and led all the way. PRINCE RUFUS (2), BREAKING DAY (4), GADSBY (5) and OFF THE BOIL (6) were all checked at the first turn and lost significant ground. MOON FLASH (7) yielded ground when turning out of the back, causing AUTOGRAPH ROWE (1) to be hampered. OFF THE BOIL (6) checked across heels of PRINCE RUFUS (2) when turning for home, with BREAKING DAY (4) and GADSBY (5) also swinging wide into the home straight.
