SKIN DEEP (6) checked MEDUSA GOLD (5), MASTER LACHIE (4) and ZIPPING ECHO (3) in the run to the first turn. Approaching the first turn, SKIN DEEP (6) checked CALLA BOOM (2) and GATE JUAN (1) when crossing. As a result of this incident, ZIPPING ECHO (3), MEDUSA GOLD (5), MASTER LACHIE (4) and SPRING RICKY (7) had to check. A post race veterinary examination of MASTER LACHIE (4) revealed the greyhound had injured an offside back muscle and connections were issued a 21- day incapacitation certificate for the greyhound. A post race veterinary examination of BLUE CHEROKEE (8) revealed the greyhound had injured an offside hip support muscle and connections were issued a 10-day incapacitation certificate for the greyhound. Approaching the first turn, SMART MISSILE (1), MISS BRITT (2), BALLISTIC TIP (4) and REMEMBER IRENE (6) came together, causing MISS BRITT (2), BALLISTIC TIP (4) and REMEMBER IRENE (6) to check and lose valuable ground. As a result of this incident, WATTA PIXIE (5), BLUE REVOVLER (7) and UNO TOPPER (8) had to check. ROB STARK (8) checked MAVRIKI KOSTA (9) and SABLE SWAG (6) shortly after the start. STAR OF IBROX (1), BOGAN BOY RACER (4) and GRALIN (5) came together on the first turn, all losing ground. Worst affected was BOGAN BOY RACER (4). ROB STARK (8) marred WATTA MISCHIEF (2) outwardly, on the turn into the back straight. Shortly after, WATTA MISCHIEF (2) and ROB STARK (8) collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Worst affected was ROB STARK (8). ROB STARK (8) marred WATTA MISCHIEF (2) outwardly, on the turn into the home straight, severely checking WATTA MISCHIEF (2) and BOGAN BOY RACER (4). As a result of this incident, ROB STARK (8) lost valuable ground. WATTA MISCHIEF (2) was examined by the club s veterinary surgeon after the event and no injury was found. A post race veterinary examination of ROB STARK (8) revealed the greyhound had injured a nearside back muscle and connections were issued a 28-day incapacitation certificate for the greyhound. A post race veterinary examination of BOGAN BOY RACER (4) revealed the greyhound had injured a nearside hip support muscle and connections were issued a 10-day incapacitation certificate. Ken Burnett, the trainer of ROB STARK (8), was questioned regarding the greyhounds actions on the turn into the back straight and on the turn into the home straight. Mr Burnett could offer no excuses for the greyhound s actions. After making observations and viewing the race footage, stewards were comfortably satisfied that ROB STARK (8) had marred WATTA MISCHIEF (2) on two occasions during the event. Subsequently, ROB STARK (8), has been disqualified from racing at Wentworth Park for 28 days for marring, under GAR rule 69 (1) (a).the greyhound must now perform a satisfactory trial with two other greyhounds before it can be renominated. MASTER GEE (3) checked BERTACIOUS BEE (2) in the run to the first turn. Shortly after, MASTER GEE (3) hampered SMOOTH NUMBER (1). MASTER GEE (3) checked off the heels of CHILLI SIERRA (4) passing the catching pen and came together with ZIPPING MIDGE (5),hampering OPUS FORTE (8). RIO ROCKET (1), CALL ME BOZ (2), IRON MOUNTAIN (9), TRACYS PICK (5) and ONE HILL (6) came together in the run to the first turn, causing RIO ROCKET (1) and IRON MOUNTAIN (9) to severely check and lose ground sharply. A post race veterinary examination of RIO ROCKET (1) revealed the greyhound had no injury.
