4 RACE REPORTS RACE 1 LADBROKES BET BETTER MAIDEN SERIES HEAT 1 400m WINNER BUGATTI CRUZ (8) BURRA MISS (3), IONA FLYER (4), HENSON HILL (5), PIT BOSS (6) and QUEEN OF ZIEMS (7) were outpaced early. BURRA MISS (3), IONA FLYER (4), PIT BOSS (6) and QUEEN OF ZIEMS (7) were checked at the first turn and lost ground. BURRA MISS (3) and QUEEN OF ZIEMS (7) collided after entering the home straight, mainly caused by BURRA MISS (3) wanting to shift out. BLAZIN BROCK (9) led into the home straight but weakened late. COMPLETE RUN ON x ¾ (6.67, 16.47) BUGATTI CRUZ (8) direction of stewards RACE 2 AUS-PUMP CONCRETE 0-1 WIN STAKES Mixed 472m WINNER WINSOME SPRING (7) PANAMA RED (8) was slow out. WESTERN CHLOE (3) and WARAMI GOLD (5) drifted back soon after the start. FABULOUS DANCER (2) galloped across heels of BOO FIGHTERS (4) approaching the first turn, with FABULOUS DANCER (2) then yielding ground at the first turn. BOO FIGHTERS (4) swung wide when turning for home. WESTERN CHLOE (3) shifted out in the home straight and marred BOO FIGHTERS (4). BOO FIGHTERS (4) was issued with an endorsement for Marring (1 st offence) in accordance with Rule 69, requiring it to undertake a satisfactory trial prior to racing again. 5 RACE 3 LADBROKES BET BETTER MAIDEN SERIES HEAT 2 400m WINNER WILLY MAYS HAYES (6) IONA DIESEL (5) was slow out, with LEROSA (3) also only moderate to begin. REBEL LAD (2), BUGATTI ROYALE (7) and IRISH MODEL (8) were checked at the first turn and lost ground. HOTTER THAN JULY (1) was prominent early but yielded ground after turning out of the back. BUGATTI ROYALE (7) veered wide at the home turn. REBEL LAD (2) flashed home late. COMPLETE RUN ON ¼ x 2 ¾ (6.60, 16.34) WILLY MAYS HAYES (6) direction of stewards RACE 4 LADBROKES ODDS BOOST 0-1 WIN STAKES Mixed 472m WINNER TOUGH LOVE (1) MIGHTY FORCE (2) was slow out. FABERSHAK (7) got checked back soon after the start. WILLOWBROOKE (4) and OLAY BEAUTY (8) drifted back approaching the first turn, with WILLOWBROOKE (4) losing further ground after checking off heels of FABERSHAK (7). WHAT WILL SEE (3) was prominent early but yielded ground after turning out of the back. MIGHTY FORCE (2) got across heels of FABERSHAK (7) at the home turn and veered wide, and also took OLAY BEAUTY (8) wide with it. 6 RACE 5 BULLI TUES-THURS TRIALS STAKES 4/5 th Grade 472m WINNER SVEEN (8) NESTA NO CRY (2), WILLY DO (4) and STILTON GOLD (5) were checked back soon after the start. BLACK BORDEAUX (1) got off heels of SLEEPING SLICK (6) approaching the first turn and immediately went amiss and dropped right out. BLUE TELLYTUBBY (3) yielded ground as it began to tire at the turn off the back. SLEEPING SLICK (6) had the lead at the home turn but then yielded ground and veered wide, with STILTON GOLD (5) also veering wide with it. BLACK BORDEAUX (1) Nearside back 42 days COMPLETE RUN ON ¾ x Nose (10.10, 20.01) SVEEN (8) direction of stewards RACE 6 LADBROKES MONTHLY MEDAL SPRINT SERIES FINAL 5 th Grade 472m WINNER WICKED WARRIOR (8) MY BOY CHRIS (4) got shuffled out to the rear early. AY JAY ZAN (2) and FULL OF RUST (3) were drifting back approaching the first turn, with AY JAY ZAN (2) and MY BOY CHRIS (4) then getting into a scrimmage around the first bend and both dropped off. STILTON COMBAT (3) came together with RTIZA RUBY (2) racing in to the back straight with both losing momentum. COMPLETE RUN ON ¾ x 3 ¼ (12.29) (22.04) ET CETERA (1) direction of stewards RACE 8 SOUTHERN ENGINE RECONDITIONING STAKES NG 400m WINNER BARKING BAD (5) SOOTY OAK (4) was marginally slow to begin. HOLME S (8) was the best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, PEDRO CERRANO (1), FLASH EARNER (3) and BARKING BAD (5) came together with all suffering varying degrees of interference. 8 RACE 9 BULLI SATURDAY NIGHTS STAKES 5 th Grade 590m WINNER IONA MUFFIN TOP (1) PLEASANT ANNIE (3) was the best to begin. TARGARYEN (8) was marginally slow out. Racing in to the first turn, MASTER GREY (2), ABSOLUTE GUNN (6), SOVEREIGN QUEEN (7) and TARGARYEN (8) came together. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, MASTER GREY (2) checked off the heels of ABSOLUTE GUNN (6). COMPLETE RUN ON ¾ x 1 ¾ (16.63) (26.88) IONA MUFFIN TOP (1) direction of stewards RACE 10 SHELLHARBOUR CITY TOUR COACHES STAKES 5 th Grade 400m WINNER MIGHTY MISSION (5) OAK PARK (10) was marginally slow to begin. DESTINY S SOUL (1) and MIGHTY MISSION (5) were the best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, PRINCETOWN (9) checked off the heels of DESTINY S SOUL (1). Separately, SWITCH COLOURS (4) came together with HE S SOME ASSET (7) with both losing momentum. Turning out of the back straight, HAICH TWO MO (6) checked off the heels of PRINCETOWN (9). 9 RACE 11 WOLLONGONG TOURISM STAKES 5 th Grade 400m WINNER FUBRE (1) FUBRE (1) jumped smartly and led all the way. NOAH S PARK (5) was marginally slow to begin. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SHOW PRINCE (6), CIGARS ON ICE (7) and JUD MY HERO (8) came together with SHOW PRINCE (6) losing ground. Beginning the turn out of the back straight, NOAH S PARK (5) checked off the heels of GATE UP CHIEF (4), losing momentum. CELEBRITY INK (3) bumped GATE UP CHIEF (4) racing in to the home straight.
