5 STEWARDS/CLEARANCE TRIAL 1 400M 2 WILD TORN BLAZER TAKE OVER JASMIN 27.7 COMPLETE RUN ON 24 6 Lengths Wild Torn Blazer was trialling in accord with LR 21B having not competed for a period exceeding six months, with the trial duplicating as a weight trial. The greyhound was deemed to have trialled satisfactorily and was cleared to resume racing, with the new weight recognised. In a separate unrelated first turn incident, KING SAM( 4 ) galloped on the back of CHASE THE DREAM( 1 ), losing ground. ROCKY ROMAN( 2 ) raced wide in the back straight hampering PANDA BEAR( 3 ). KING SAM( 4 ) checked FANCY FICTION( 7 ) approaching the turn out of the back straight, causing FANCY FICTION( 7 ) to lose ground. ROCKY ROMAN( 2 ) raced wide at the home turn. Shortly after, NEVERLAND PIRATE( 2 ) raced wide checking BLACK BUCKET BOY( 3 ), ALMOST A GIFT( 4 ), and SOVANE( 6 ), causing BLACK BUCKET BOY( 3 ), 44, 44, and 46, and 46 to lose ground checking NIC S KARMA( 1 ) and KING SHAQ( 8 ) which also lost ground. SOVANE( 6 ) raced wide in the back straight checking KING SHAQ( 8 ), both losing further ground. NIC S KARMA( 1 ) checked ALMOST A GIFT( 4 ) approaching the turn out of the back straight, with ALMOST A GIFT( 4 ) losing ground.
