1 Important things to remember: MiSouth Region Stabling Information Rallies 1. You cannot move in to the Kentucky Horse Park before 9:00 am EST on Tuesay, June 20th an you must epart on Sunay, June 25th OR be completely out of the stall before 8am on Monay, June 26th. If your horse is still in a stall, or you have anything at all left in a fee or tack stall by 8am EST on Monay, June 26th, the stall is consiere to be "occupie" an there will be an aitional $54 per stall fee owe. If you plan on arriving in Lexington on Monay, June 19th you'll nee to use one of the local layover facilities. A list is inclue at the en of this ocument. If you are laying over before, or after, one of the rallies between the 20th an 25th, the cost per stall will be an a form must be complete an maile to the stabling coorinator, WITH PAYMENT, prior to arrival at KHP. Please check the chart to see what stabling is inclue with the entry fee, an when it nees to be sent. The staff at KHP will make rouns beginning at 8am each ay, an they bill us base on the number of occupie stalls they fin. Even if you just keep a bale of hay, or a broom in a stall, it is consiere "occupie" an we get charge for it. 2. If you are neeing to lay over before, after, or between rallies, we will try to keep you in your competition stall if at all possible. But be aware that we reserve the right to move you to another horse stall if necessary to keep the current competition horses together. 3. If you arrive the ay of your rally but before the official "move-in" for your rally, you will be allowe to move your horse in to its stall, an to rop off tack an equipment in the aisle, or place it in the stall beginning at 9am. Tack rooms cannot be set up until official rally start time. 4. Do NOT block the barn aisle with your vehicle/trailers. Keep enough space to the sie so that another vehicle can get past your rig, an never leave your vehicle/trailer unattene in the barn aisle. Get in, unloa an get out as soon as possible. 5. No parents will be allowe to stay in the barn area an help set up. PARENTS MAY HANG FANS ONLY!!! 6. All trailers MUST be parke in the "new" esignate trailer parking lot, which is locate way past the Alltech Arena an across from the Secretariat Center (follow the signs). There is NO trailer parking in the front visitor lot of the Kentucky Horse Park, or the car parking lot of the Alltech Arena, or any other location that is marke with "No Trailer Parking" signage. Any inappropriately parke trailers will be towe at the owner's expense. 7. Stall cars: All horses must have a complete proper stall car, which will remain on their stall as long as they are house on Masterson Station Park or KHP grouns. 2 nee to have stall cars. Any unattene horse or pony without a stall car will be penalize an/or fine. There will be a $25 fine impose on the club or center if the member is not in active competition, an significant HM penalty points if they are in active competition. If you plan to keep a horse in one of the Devers paocks, there must be a stall car both there an the assigne stall. 8. Being: You must supply your own being for each horse stall. You can either bring your own or purchase it on site. Devers sells bagge shavings, straw bales an hay bales, an the business is locate on th grouns. Expect to have a minimum of 4 bags of shavings or two bales of straw for being for any horse stall The floors of the stalls are asphalt which is a very har surface. You can orer your shavings from Devers with a creit car before you arrive at the park an they will eliver it to a location very close to your assigne stall. You can also rent stall mats from Devers. Devers Hay, Grain an Being (an golf carts, too) Horse Management: The 2017 USPC Horse Management Rulebook will be the official HM rulebook for rally, an HM juging will begin on move-in ay, at the official rally start time. All horses, incluing early arrivals or layovers, must have proper care. Any safety violations or untiy horse management can an will reflect upon Team members who are still competing. 10. Equipment: Kentucky Horse Park rules require that fans be plugge into 3 prong outoor aapters, then plugge in to groune 3 prong outoor uty extension cors. 11. Please use the chart on the following page to help etermine how many nights uring rally at KHP that you may nee an early arrival or layover stall. The only stabling that is inclue with your rally entry fee are the nights between move-in an awars. Typically at the en of a rally you woul pack up after awars an go home, but this week you may be trailering in with a competitor who is competing on a ifferent scheule. If you nee a stall for other nights you will nee to reserve a layover stall by filling out the Stabling Request Form for s an sening it, with a separate check payable to MiSouth Region, to the Stabling Organizer. 12. Special note for D1 an D2 CT competitors - we have inclue two full nights stabling for your entry, an you can use either TUESDAY or THURSDAY as the secon night. If Thursay night works best, remember that you must have the stalls empty before 8am on Friay morning! If you nee to stay until Friay afternoon, the extra for layover will be require. 13. Failure to sen payment, in avance, to the Stabling Coorinator means you will not be given your competitor packet until the stabling bill is pai. In orer to make sure payment reaches the coorinator in time, the form shoul be postmarke by June 6th so it has a chance of getting to the stabling coorinator by June 12th. If the form an check have not arrive by June 16th, you will nee to write another check when you arrive on site. When the coorinator returns home on June 25th, if the first check is there, it will be estroye. 2
