3 SCHEDULE Thursday 24th august 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.: arrival of horses 6:00 p.m. VET CHECK for all horses classes M and Masters in alphabetical order 7:00 p.m. drawing of the entry order dressage 7:30 p.m. Welcome Dinner all competitors are invited by the organizer to dinner, drinks have to be paid. Family members and friends are very welcome, tickets for dinner are available in the restaurant. 4 As the competition will be held under the safety regulations of austrian equestrian federation: All riders classes kids to L have to wear a helmet in all tests, riders class M and Masters helmet in maneability and speedtrail!!! Helmet in Dressage M and S is recommended. Young riders till 18 years have to wear a backprotector in maneability and speedtrail! 3. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS Competition Arenas: DRESSAGE 20x40 Sand, Outdoor MANEABILITY 100x70 grass, Outdoor with bad weather conditions will be changed to speed trail arena, sand SPEEDTRAIL Warm up 50x70 Sand, Outdoor 30x70 Sand indoor or outdoor 4

5 with really bad weather conditions all tests will be held indoor, arena 1: 70x30 meters, warm up in indoor arena 2: 60x20 meters. HOTEL small and clean hotel with breakfast transport of horses in responsibility of each rider VISITORS free entry to the competition arena 5

HORSES/BOXES/FEE starting fee per horse 90,- fee per box 95,- (2 bales of hey included) first beding included, all boxes with wooden shavings or straw more hey and wooden shavings can be bought at the show office boxes indoor limited number, all other boxes in tent feeding service: we will feed your horse on friday, saturday and sunday only morning 7:00 a.m. if you prepare everything in front of the box! payment of boxes and starting fee till 8th august to following account: Working Equitation Austria IBAN: AT BIC: RLNWATW1438 The organising committee is not liable for damages to cars, trailers, harnesses, accessoires or other objects, theft or loss, fire and other accidents. 7 7. VETERINARY REGULATIONS All horses must have an equine identification Document issued by their countries of origin. Please note to inform yourself about the instructions of your country for the exportationlaws and transport documents! All horses taking part must be vaccinated as per the Austrian Equestrian Federation Veterinary Regulations. 8. CEREMONIES The final price giving ceremony will take place on sunday, all riders on horsebacks. Pricemoney: Level M 300/200/100/50 Level S 400/300/200/ INSURANCE All owners and competitors are personally responsible for the damages caused to theirs parties, by themselves, employees, agents or horses and they are accordingly most strongly advised to take out civil liability insurance, fully covering their participation in trails in their own country or abroad and that such insurance policy must be kept up to date. The organising committee is not responsible by thirs parties if a competitor doesnt have a valid insurance policy. Horses and competitors equipment remain under the riders/owners responsibility. Competitors are responsible for all costs resulting from accidents. As a consequence of the above paragraph, competitors forthwith their right to any legal regress against the organising committee. All participants must ensure that their personal civil liability, individual accidents and medical insurance policies etc. are valid for the period of their activity. The organisation can never be responsible or held liable if such agreements have expired. The participants are also responisible for their horses and materials for the period of the competition. 7

OTHER DISPOSITIONS The organising committee reserves the right to make any changes of the programe for the purpose of resolving any problems or unforseeable circumstances Movements oft he horses between boxes, warming up and competition arenas should be also strictly respected to all other participants. All horses have to wear head numbers during the event Arrival by plane: Airport Vienna/Schwechat taxi to competition arena approx. 60, Arrival by car: Zuckermantelhof 88, 2241 Schönkirchen-Reyersdorf, Austria Code of Conduct FOR THE WELFARE OF THE HORSE Considering that WAWE aims to meet the highest standards of equestrian competition and therefore pretends at all times to safeguard the welfare of the horse, we strongly recommend that at all times following principles are met by all the involved: - That in all stages of the competition (during the preparation and training of competition horses) welfare must take precedence over all other demands -Owners, trainers and judges have to be sure that horses and competitors must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete -The events OC have to pay careful attention to the facilities (envolving competition areas, ground surfaces, stabling), weather conditions,site safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event. -WAWE urges all involved with the sport to attain the highest levels of education in their areas of expertise We wish all riders and horses a save trip to austria, a great competition and we are looking forward to welcome all of you soon!!! 8
