3 I. TECHNICAL CONDITIONS 1. VENUE: Parc Equestre Fédéral, Lamotte-Beuvron (41) 2. BOXES: Size: 3 m x 3 m 3. COMPETITORS Each rider must be aged at least 16 years old and at the most 21 years old in the calendar year Nations will respect the following quotas: 6 riders maximum in total 4 by team (3 best scores count) 2 individuals The host country is allowed to double these quotas. 3

6 III. REGULATION These championships are organised according to the IHAA rules. By registrating, the participants accept the rules emanating from the FITE. Participants register under their own responsibility or their legal representative s. The organisation board declines any responsibility in case of accident. 1. INSSURANCE Every rider or horse owner is liable for any damage caused to third parties by himself/herself, his/her employees, his/her grooms, as well as his/her horse. It is compulsory to have an insurance covering civil responsibility, covering international events, for every participant or horse owner. 2. PASSPORT The FEI passport is not compulsory if the horse is duly identified with a microchip and a national passport with the following information: identification number or UELN number - identification diagram - owner s information - vaccinations against equine influenza. 3. VACCINATION Vaccinations stipulated by ministerial ruling and prefectoral order are compulsory. Vaccination against equine influenza is compulsory to take part in competition. To be considered as vaccinated, any horse with a primary vaccination date prior to 1 January 2013 must be vaccinated: a) With a primary course: two injections for equine influenza, with a period of 21 to 92 days between each. b) With annual boosters, so as the period between two injections does not exceed twelve months. To be considered as vaccinated, any horse with a primary course is dated after the 1 st January 2013 must be vaccinated: a) With a primary course: two injections for equine influenza, with a period of 21 to 92 days between each. b) With boosters five months later, so as the period between two injections does not exceed six months. c) With annual boosters, so as the period between two injections does not exceed twelve months. Horses may compete after the second injection of the primary course. Horses must not compete in the seven days after receiving a vaccination. 6

7 IV. MORE INFORMATION 1. FLAG CEREMONY Only one rider is allowed for each country, other competitors have to walk. The pace during the ceremony will be the walk. 2. AWARDING CEREMONY Riders have to be present at the awarding ceremony. 7
