Pull Me Up bumped heavily at the start. Aqua Chimera missed the start (2L). Bebear missed the start (2L). I m On The Prowl a post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Scauldron was crowded at the start. Race 2: 4YO+ Maiden Plate 1100m The Red Chief slow to begin.

2 Cristal Lulu hung out during the middle stages and ran wide passing the 800m. Was accidentally struck on the head by the whip of another rider passing the 150m, then raced in restricted room inside the 100m. Grand Peril slow to begin. She s Sharp As slow to begin. Wainbow Lilly slow to begin. Sally s Dream was kicked by another runner in the mounting enclosure and was withdrawn on veterinary advice at 1.48pm. When correct weight was declared it was ordered that all bets made on Sally s Dream be refunded in full and with regard to betting with bookmakers, all successful wagers placed prior to 1.48pm be subject to the following deduction on the face value of the betting ticket: 1 st Fiery Eminence 0 cents Win & 1 cent Place 2 nd Bushie s Crumpet 2 cents Place 3 rd Robynlucy 2 cents Place. Race 3: Maiden Handicap 1400m Nic And Run trainer Mr. C Prosser said that the gelding would be spelled. Serenade Sunset had to be checked severely and shifted out abruptly at the entrance to the home straight after failing to obtain a narrow run. When questioned in relation to his ride in the early stages, P Graham explained that he had intended to be in a forward position early, however he was mindful of the mare s tendency to over race and endeavored to achieve this without placing his mount under full pressure out of the barriers. He said that after beginning well Serenade Sunset relaxed more than usual which he attributed to the removal of blinkers, therefore he allowed it to race where it was comfortable. Bucklette had to be checked very severely when badly crowded at the entrance to the home straight. My Boy Fred slow to begin. Race 4: Benchmark 60 Handicap 1400m Warwick Avenue had to be steadied passing the 800m. When questioned in relation to his ride, P Graham explained that he had intended to lead if possible and rode with strong vigour after the start, but his mount

3 failed to muster sufficient speed to achieve this. He said that after having to be steadied mid race he was much further back than intended. He said that because of this, when Warwick Avenue began to respond to his urgings from the 600m he elected to allow it to improve wide and maintain its momentum and the gelding ran to the finish strongly. Italian Son when questioned in relation to the performance, R Murray explained that she had intended to lead, however the tempo was stronger than she anticipated and for this reason she elected to ease her mount and obtain cover passing the 1100m. She said that after this the gelding failed to travel, resented racing amongst the field and did not respond to her urgings at any stage thereafter. Stable representative Mr. N Perry expressed a view that Italian Son was best suited when allowed to lead without pressure and added that if it recovered well the preparation would continue at country venues. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Loud Enough raced in restricted room for a short distance at the entrance to the home straight. Race 5: Open Handicap 1900m Kilmarnock slow to begin. Image Of Love when questioned in relation to the performance, P Graham explained that his mount failed to travel or respond to his urgings at any stage. Trainer Mr. P Grills said that if the mare recovered well it would be nominated for a lower grade race over a decreased distance at Inverell 1/1/18. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Mount Bulla B Looker, the rider of Elegies, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding (AR137a), in that approaching the winning post on the first occasion, he allowed his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of Lonely Orphan, which was crowded into the path of Mount Bulla which had to be checked and shifted out abruptly. B Looker s license to ride in races was suspended for a period to commence 1/1/18, at the expiration of a suspension incurred at Tuncurry 11/12/17 and expire 7/1/18, on which day he may ride. In determining penalty B Looker was advised that had the Inverell cup meeting not been amongst the meetings involved in this penalty, the penalty applied would have been more significant. A post-race examination of Mount Bulla revealed no abnormality. Trainer Mrs. M Moses said that the gelding would be spelled.

4 Punton Bernadini raced fiercely in the early stages and ran wide rounding the turn out of the home straight on the first occasion. Race 6: Class 1 Handicap 1100m Crimson Sun slow to begin. Victory Vibes raced wide with no cover throughout. Private Ryan a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding was 2/5 lame in the near fore leg. Trainer Mrs. L Jeffriess was advised that prior to racing again Private Ryan must undergo a veterinary examination to determine its fitness. Bianbitten slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Leggie began awkwardly. White Eagle slow to begin. Race 7: Open Handicap 1300m Where s Thatdragon hung out when placed under pressure in the home straight. Youwaitandsee slow to begin. Phrases a post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding has an enlarged near fore fetlock joint and whilst it was not lame, there was restricted flexion. Trainer Mr. P Cheers was advised that prior to racing again Phrases must undergo a veterinary examination on that joint to determine whether it was suitable for a continued racing preparation. Race 8: Class 3 Handicap 1300m Beale Street over raced for some distance after being crossed passing the 1100m. a post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had cast its near hind plate during the race. Proane began awkwardly and was slow away. Gatto Mondo missed the start (2L), then had to be checked when over racing near the 1100m. Path Of Justice slow to begin.
