Here is the draw for our October competition and some information to help you have a successful and as stress free as possible event. QSEC have allocated us the stables and camp sites we can use, so my apologies if you did not get the allocation that you requested. QSEC have also requested that horses be stabled apart to minimize contact. DOGS PLEASE NOTE that it is a QSEC requirement and DQRSC requirement that all dogs must be secured at all times that is, secured in a pen, tied up or on a leash no longer than 1m in length. Competitors who do not abide by this requirement will have their entries refused for future competitions. HORSE HEALTH DECLARATIONS You must hand your completed Horse Health Declaration to Gear Check at the Indoor Arena BEFORE you ride. This form is part of the you received with the draw. Please print it out, fill it out and bring it with you to the event. ARENA FAMILIARISATION To allow you to familiarize your horse with the Indoor Arena, it will be open from Friday 4.00pm to 6.00pm Saturday 6.00am to 7.45am Sunday 6.00am to 7.15am Please note that you are permitted to ride in the dressage arena during familiarization you are not restricted to just riding around the outside of the dressage arena. SCRATCHINGS Please contact Leesa Murray on during the event. up to and including Friday leesa_murray@optusnet.com.au ACCESS, STABLES and CAMPING Access to the Indoor Arena is via the stables, which are accessed from Old Gympie Road. There is no day parking at the Indoor Arena or in the stable area that is, all horses must be stabled. DQRSC Official Dressage October 2014 Version 1 Page 1 of 5

2 The stables will be open on arrival (Friday by 12.30pm, Saturday and Sunday by 6.00am). Stables are allocated and please adhere to your allocated stable number. Stables that are not left TOTALLY CLEAN of all bedding and SWEPT OUT will incur a cleaning fee of $ Note that QSEC has decided to discontinue the trial of allowing clean bedding to remain in stables, and all stables must be left totally clean. Please collect manure from the WASH BAYS so that our work is easier at the day s end. Camping is allocated. Please adhere to your allocated camping spot and leave it clean on departure. Hopefully they will have a quiet competition without their services being required. For each level we have a championship rug, kindly donated by our sponsors. The following is the timetable for the presentation of these rugs on Sunday. These horses may be worked on the grass warmup areas or the outdoor sand arena if it is not in use by competitors.
