NOTES ON DIVISIONS TECHNIQUES Empty hand techniques to be performed with a partner, the same rank or below, before a panel of judges. The partner must fall correctly, and falling is mandatory. SWORD AND STAFF Black belts may enter both staff and sword division. If you enter both, they will be considered two separate divisions. No live (sharp) blades. Korean style weapons only. Adults Black Belt competitors are required to wear the official Kuk Sool General s uniform for all Weapons Divisions.

Grand Champion categories: Those wishing to enter the Grand Champion competition must enter All divisions in their rank. Grand Champions will be chosen by overall point accumulation. Only Black Belts may compete for Grand Championship. There must be at least three (3) competitors to qualify for the Grand Champion Trophy and recognition. If a School wins the flag three consecutive years, they will keep the flag permanently. Plaques will be given to First through Fifth place schools. ALL COMPETITORS MUST WEAR A COMPLETE KUK SOOL UNIFORM WITH AUTHORIZED MARKINGS ONLY. ALL INSTRUCTORS AND BLACK BELTS MUST REPORT BY THE TIME INDICATED. ALL OFFICIALS & JUDGES MUST WEAR GENERAL S UNIFORM. Safety equipment is required for all sparring and self defense competition (mandatory: headgear, mouthpiece, cup for men, boots, and gloves. We recommend shin guards and / or breast protectors). Note that in all divisions, males and females may be combined. We reserve the right to combine or add divisions to best accommodate everyone.
