2 WELCOME Dear Rotarian friends, Rotaract Club Sarajevo wi e support of e Rotary Club Sarajevo and Interact Club Sarajevo is organizing a Rotary Gala Ball to mark years since e founding of e Rotary family, 85 years of existence and 15 years since e reestablishment of Rotary Club Sarajevo, as well as years since e founding of e Rotaract Club Sarajevo. In 2014 Rotary B&H community has expended by one more member; e first Interact Club Sarajevo, which will, hopefully continue our Rotary tradition. We are pleased to invite you to our Ball, which is designed as e main event of e ree-day gaering of local and international members of e Rotary community, in order to once again demonstrate e true meaning of our guiding principles: ''Service above self''. The Ball is very significant for us not only for e reasons mentioned above, but also because of our intention to support e Special Olympics of Bosnia and Herzegovina and participation of B&H Special Olympics aletes at e upcoming competitions. Part of collected donations at e Gala Ball will serve to support e Special Olympics activities rough designated fund. Special Olympics in B&H was established on e June 6, 2006 and currently engages over 25 associations and eir activities are carried out roughout institutes, day care centers, elementary and high schools who work wi people wi special needs. The goal of is project is to support people wi disabilities rough sports training and competition in e physical, mental, spiritual or psychological sense. The aletes of Special Olympics Bosnia and Herzegovina in e upcoming period should participate at e very important competitions, such as World Summer Special Olympic in Los Angeles, USA, from e July 25 to e August nd 2, 2015 ( ), Special Olympics World Winter Games 2017 in Graz, Austria, March, 2015 ( ).Wi is action we want to establish fund to support eir participation. This type of session allows Rotarians to come togeer to discuss eir Club activities and find oers wi similar interests or project ideas and experience ey can draw on. Participants greet each oer in a series of brief exchanges during a set period of time. Each club representative is required to come up wi a project idea at will be presented to oers, in order to establish partnership between e clubs.
