3 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY The Secretary and Committee earnestly requests your co-operation by observing the following Conditions of Entry: THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH EXCLUSION OF LIABLILTY PRINTED AT BACK OF SCHEUDLE 1. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE REQUIRED FEES 2. Please note closing date and you are requested, please, to lodge entries with Secretary as early as possible before the period for receiving Entries closes. NO LATE ENTRIES PLEASE 3. Each Exhibitor or agent must be prepared to verify every statement contained in the Entry Form in any manner the Show Committee may require. 4. The decision of the Judges must be accepted as final. 5. Should any dispute arise for which a specific rule is not provided, such matters in dispute shall be referred to the Committee, whose decision shall be final, and in no case can there be an appeal to law. 6. The Association reserves the right to postpone or abandon the Show but will not be responsible to an intending Exhibitor for loss incurred by reason of such postponement or abandonment. 7. Any person entering an exhibit and failing to send same for exhibition, shall forfeit the Entry Fee. 8. Every effort will be made to commence the Classes and Events listed on this Schedule at the time stated. 9. The Committee has made every endeavour to avoid competitions overlapping, but competitors must appreciate that no Class can be held up awaiting their convenience. 10. THE COMMITTEE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY EVENT WHERE INSUFFICIENT ENTRIES ARE RECEIVED. Dementia patients often have restless hands and like to have something to keep their hands occupied. The knitted muff with items attached is something they can twiddle with in their hands no matter if they are in hospital or at home. The entries will be donated to AGE NI, Castlewellan, Day Centre and will be distributed to people in the area. This is a new project for the show and we hope you will support it. If you visit the show website you can download a basic pattern and see photos of the muff at various stages. All Recipes can be found on the Odlum s website. 13 B- Any Article in Coloured Embroidery made in the current C- Any article in cotton Crochet using no thicker than No 20 Cotton Thread D- Hand Knit Cardigan, Lumber Jacket or Jumper Adult Size only 3. All of the above to be made in the current year 4. The items to be displayed as one exhibit 5. Any Item the Judge feels is produced by any other method other than hand shall be disqualified 6. A special class will be held at each qualifying show. 7. One entry may qualify from each qualifying show for the final, if judges agree that the standard is high enough a second entry may be qualified. The Qualifiers from each of these shows will go forward to the final, to be held at the Ballyshannon Show, on Sunday August 20th 8. Each of the successful qualifiers will receive a Rosette on appearance at the final 9. The judge s decisions will be final at all stages of the competition. 10.
