Scouting Delaware: The Blue Hens come into this weekend s game with a 7-10 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the CAA. Delaware has improved lately since the return of senior All-CAA point guard Mike Slattery from an injury which kept him out for five games (all losses). Slattery averages 9.6 points and 7.1 assists per contest, which would lead the CAA if he had played in enough games to qualify. Junior forward Harding Nana has been the squad s top player this season, averaging a double-double with 20.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Junior guard Andrew Washington averages 11.9 points for Delaware which, much like Hofstra, has been utilizing a smaller, three-guard line-up this season Hofstra-Delaware Series: Hofstra leads the all-time series with Delaware 36-21, including 4-2 since the teams joined the CAA in The Pride also defeated the Blue Hens in back-to-back America East Conference championship games in 2000 and Last year, the home team won each game, while the Pride swept the two-game series in , its first sweep of the Blue Hens since Hofstra s last two home games with Delaware have been two-point victories that came down to the final possession. Delaware took a lead with 4:08 remaining on a three-pointer from guard David Lunn, but the Pride answered with eight straight points to take the lead for good. Freshman guard Carlos Rivera drove to the basket on the Pride's ensuing possession and was fouled, but suffered a season-ending knee injury on the play. Sophomore forward Omar Alston came in and knocked down both free throws to even the score. After the Pride earned a stop, Kieza knocked down the first of two consecutive three-pointers at the 3:26 mark to give Hofstra the lead back at After Delaware's Calvin Smith missed the front end of a one-and-one, Kieza came back and buried another three-pointer with 2:29 remaining to stretch the lead up to However, Delaware's Rulon Washington (game-high 20 points) got his team back in it with three three-pointers in the final 1:01. Kieza hit a pair of clutch foul shots with 26 seconds remaining to give the Pride a lead, but Washington hit his final three to pull Delaware within a single point at with 20 seconds left. Kieza again knocked down two foul shots, and Delaware senior guard Mike Ames had a tying three-pointer rim in-and-out. Stokes scored 14 points for the Pride, while forward Robin Wentt tallied 17 points and 14 rebounds for Delaware. The Blue Hens held a edge on the boards, but turned the ball over 26 times. Last Year At Delaware (Delaware 66, Hofstra 59): Senior guard Mike Ames scored 21 points, including at the free throw line, as the Delaware Men's Basketball team pulled away late in the game for a win over Hofstra in the CAA opener for both teams on Jan. 3. The loss spoiled another career-high scoring day for freshman guard Loren Stokes, who scored 17 points. Junior forward Kenny Adeleke also had his second straight double-double for the Pride with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The score was tied at with 7:31 left on a pair of free throws from Adeleke, but Delaware held Hofstra scoreless for the next 4:17 as it took a lead. Junior forward Harding Nana started the run with a free throw, and ended it with a jumper at the 5:34 mark. Neither team scored a point until 3:14 left on the clock, when Hofstra junior center Wendell Gibson converted on a put-back. Stokes then had a driving lay-up with 1:51 left to pull the Pride within 60-57, blocked a shot from Ames with the shot clock winding down, and saved the rebound from going out of bounds, but Hofstra turned the ball over on the ensuing fast break. The Blue Hens then worked the ball to Nana, who had his first shot blocked by Gibson, but converted on the second effort to stretch the Blue Hen lead to Rivera's three-pointer from the left wing bounced out, and Ames hit four straight free throws to seal the win. Nana had eight points and 13 rebounds for Delaware, which held a edge on the glass. Junior guard Mike Slattery added 15 points and seven assists for Delaware. 2

The Pride had defeated the Monarchs in all three home games since joining the CAA in , by a combined total of six points. A year ago, Hofstra closed out on a 7-0 run to win 80-79, capped off by a game-winning three-pointer from then-junior Michael Radziejewski (Jackson Heights, NY). This year, though, Old Dominion was the one hitting the clutch shot, as sophomore point guard Drew Williamson penetrated and kicked the ball out to Thomas on the right wing, who buried a three-pointer with 1:25 left to put the Monarchs ahead Hofstra had a couple of chances to take the lead in the closing seconds. Sophomore guard Loren Stokes (Buffalo, NY) blocked a shot from Old Dominion center Alex Loughton, which went out of bounds off the Monarchs with 31 seconds left. The Pride called a time-out and set up a play for freshman guard Antoine Agudio (Huntington Station, NY), who was called for an offensive foul as he tried to penetrate with six seconds remaining. After Old Dominion sophomore forward Valdas Vasylius missed two foul shots, Stokes came down and attempted a buzzer-beating three-pointer from 28 feet, but it hit off the front rim. Agudio's three-pointer with 2:18 remaining gave Hofstra a lead, capping off a mini 5-0 run after Loughton put the Monarchs ahead with a jumper. The exchange capped off a wild second half, which saw the lead see-saw back and forth. The Monarchs went into the locker room at halftime ahead 38-30, but a three-pointer from junior forward Aurimas Kieza (Marijampole, Lithuania) on Hofstra's first possession cut the lead to 38-33, starting an 8-0 run which tied the score, and neither team led by more than five the rest of the way. Stokes led Hofstra with 21 points, while Agudio added 18 points. Junior forward Adrian Uter (Queens, NY) had seven points and a gamehigh 13 rebounds. Loughton paced the Monarchs with 19 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the floor, while Williamson added 15 points and junior guard Isaiah Hunter had 13. Drama At The Arena: Hofstra is 8-3 in its last 11 home games dating back to last season, but is a hair away from being The three losses have been by a combined five points, including two one-point losses and a three-point overtime defeat. Hofstra held leads in the final two minutes of all three games, including two against Drexel (84-81 in overtime on Jan. 8, last season) and Wednesday vs. Old Dominion (67-66). All four of Hofstra s home games against Old Dominion have come right down to the final 10 seconds (with the Pride winning the first three), which is also true of the last two home games with Delaware (both Pride wins). 3

Stoke-ing The Fire: Sophomore guard Loren Stokes (Buffalo, NY) scored in double figures (21 points) for the 30 th game in a row in the Pride s loss to Old Dominion on Wednesday, a streak that includes the final 15 games of last season and the first 15 this winter. He has also scored in double figures in 35 of the 36 games since becoming a starter for the first time on Dec. 23, 2003 against St. Peter s, with the only exception an eight-point game at Old Dominion last year on Jan. 10. Instead, his trademark has been his consistency. Stokes has scored between points in all 15 games this season, with his high of 24 coming against St. John s on Dec. 11. Stokes In The CAA: Hofstra sophomore guard Loren Stokes (Buffalo, NY) currently ranks in the top 10 in the Colonial Athletic Association in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. He is second in the conference in scoring (18.7 ppg), while ranking ninth in rebounding (5.9 rpg), fifth in assists (3.3 apg) and eighth in steals (1.7 spg). He is one of only seven players in the nation who rank in the top 10 in their conference in all four of those categories. The other players who can make that claim are Pele Paelay (Coastal Carolina), DaShaun Wood (Wright State), Kevin Downey (Canisius), David Moss (Indiana State), Kevin Hamilton (Holy Cross), and Ivan Almonte (Florida International). Stokes Honored By College Insider: Sophomore guard Loren Stokes (Buffalo, NY) was named to the collegeinsider.com Mid-Season Mid-Major All-America team, it was announced on Monday, Jan. 3. Stokes was one of 12 players honored from mid-major schools around the country, joining Old Dominion s Isaiah Hunter out of the Colonial Athletic Association. Hofstra In Guarded Condition: Hofstra has relied on a deep frontcourt to lead its conference in rebounding margin in each of the last four seasons (three in the CAA, one in the America East). This year, though, the Pride guards have been the ones leading the way. Hofstra has gone to a three-guard starting line-up this season, led by sophomore Loren Stokes (Buffalo, NY) and redshirt freshman Antoine Agudio (Huntington Station, NY). Stokes (18.7 ppg) and Agudio (14.3 ppg) account for nearly half of the Pride s points this year (496 of 1087, 45.6 pct) and have scored in double figures in 28 out of 30 possible games between them. They had their lowest combined output of the season with 24 points in Saturday s loss to VCU, but bounced back with 39 against Old Dominion on Wednesday (a season-high 59.1 percent of the Pride s points). 5 Agudio Named Rookie of the Week (Again): Redshirt freshman guard Antoine Agudio (Huntington Station, NY) has been a familiar name on the Colonial Athletic Association weekly release this season. Agudio was named the CAA Rookie of the Week for the sixth time in eight weeks on Monday, Jan. 10. He was named the first Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week on Nov. 22 and then captured the award again on Nov. 29. He also earned back-to-back honors on Dec. 13 and Dec. 20 and then again on Jan. 3 and 10. The six CAA Rookie of the Week awards already double the conference record for an entire season, since the award was first instituted in the campaign. The previous standard had been three, held by three different players. Top Scoring Freshmen: Through the first 15 games, freshman guard Antoine Agudio (Huntington Station, NY) has shown that he has an excellent chance to rank among the top freshman scorers in Pride history. Agudio currently averages 14.3 points per game, which would rank him fourth all-time among freshmen at Hofstra if it held up for a full season. Rich Laurel was the highest scoring freshman that the Pride has ever had (19.3 ppg in ), while David Taylor is second (17.6 ppg in ) and Craig Speedy Claxton is third (15.0 ppg in ). Here is a look at the top five scoring freshmen in Hofstra history: Top Scoring Hofstra Freshmen Player Year PPG Rich Laurel David Taylor Criag Speedy Claxton Kenny Adeleke Loren Stokes Souffrant Sixth In Assists: Senior point guard Woody Souffrant (Brooklyn, NY) currently ranks sixth all-time at Hofstra in career assists with 341, including three in Saturday s loss at VCU. He needs 14 more assists this season to move into a tie for fifth place with Rich Laurel ( ). The all-time record of 660 assists is held by current Golden State Warrior Craig Speedy Claxton, who played from (see chart below): Hofstra All-Time Assist Leaders Name Years Assists 1) Craig Claxton ) Robby Weingard ) Darius Burton ) Frank Walker ) Rich Laurel ) Woody Souffrant 2001-pres ) Leroy Allen ) Eric Harvey ) Rick Apodaca ) Jason Hernandez Radziejewski Reaches 100 Threes: Senior forward Michael Radziejewski (Jackson Heights, NY) became the 11 th player in school history to record 100 threepointers in a season-opening win over Florida International. He currently has 107 threes, moving him alone into 10 th place on the all-time list, four behind Errol Flanigan ( ) for ninth. This year, he has spent most of his playing time at the power forward spot, as Hofstra adjusted to smaller line-ups without starting center Wendell Gibson (Far Rockaway, NY). The Fourth Horseman: There is no question that Hofstra s potent three-guard attack has been the catalyst behind the Pride s fast start this season. However, junior forward Aurimas Kieza (Marijampole, Lithuania) has been another big reason for Hofstra s success. The 6-8 Kieza (10.3 ppg) is an outstanding perimeter shooter, and essentially gives Hofstra four scorers to spread the floor with on offense when in the line-up. Kieza, who plays power forward this season, has taken over half of his field goal attempts from beyond the three-point line (80 of 136, 58.9 pct.). Offense Keeps Improving: Hofstra s 10-5 start this season is due in large part to its improved offensive production. Hofstra currently leads the CAA in both scoring (72.5 ppg) and field goal percentage (46.7 pct.). The Pride also averages 7.3 three-pointers per game, while shooting 35.0 percent on three-pointers, both of which are the highest in the four years under Head Coach Tom Pecora (see below chart). 6 Fast Starts: The Pride s 9-0 start this season marked the best start that the program has ever had in its 32 years at the NCAA Division I level, eclipsing the 6-0 standard set by the team. It was the best start for the Pride at any level since the squad began the year 10-0 while playing in the NCAA Small College Division under legendary head coach Butch van Breda Kolff. The Pride started a school-record 12-0 in the season, which was van Breda Kolff s first season at the helm. Here is a list of the previous seasons when the Pride has won at least nine games in a row to start the year: Season Start Record Coach ??? Tom Pecora Butch van Breda Kolff Butch van Breda Kolff Butch van Breda Kolff Frank Reilly Frank Reilly One Of The Last To Lose: Hofstra made it all the way to December 30 before suffering its first loss of the season, an defeat to #7 Syracuse. At the time of the loss, Hofstra was one of only 10 unbeaten teams left in the country out of 330 schools. The last 10 standing were Pittsburgh, Boston College, and West Virginia from the Big East, Kansas and Texas A&M from the Big 12, along with Illinois, Duke, Cincinnati, Hofstra and Wichita State. Winning Streaks: Hofstra s nine-game win streak to start the season tied for the school s third longest streak in its Division I history. The team had an 18-game streak that included the last 15 regular season games and three America East Tournament games. The team had a 10-game win streak, while the squad also won nine in a row. Hofstra had a 23-game win streak in the NCAA Small College Division, including the final 13 games in and the first 10 in Home, Sweet Home: Hofstra is all-time at Hofstra Arena since the building opened on January 2, 2000 after seeing its seven-game home win streak snapped on Jan. 8 in its overtime loss to Drexel. The Pride is also in its last 77 home games, dating back to the season in the old Physical Fitness Center. Road, Sweet Road: Hofstra s nine-game winning streak to start the season included an impressive six wins on the road. It currently has a 7-3 road record this season, including narrow losses at #7 Syracuse and at UNC Wilmington. The last time Hofstra went to the NCAA Tournament ( ), it led the entire nation in road wins with 12. Chairmen Of The Boards: The Pride has developed a reputation as an exceptionally strong rebounding team in recent years. Hofstra has led the CAA in rebounding margin in each of its first three seasons in the league (+4.0 in , +6.1 in , +5.5 in ), after also leading the America East Conference the previous year. Hofstra has only been outrebounded seven times in each of the last two seasons, while winning the battle of the boards a combined 42 times in those two years. Since the start of the Tom Pecora era in , Hofstra has been outrebounded only 28 times in 105 games (26.7 percent of the time), and only 25.0 percent of the time since This year may break that trend, as the Pride is utilizing a smaller, threeguard line-up and has been outrebounded six times. Hofstra s Battle Of the Boards ( ) Year Games HU Opp. Even Totals The Newest Board Member: Hofstra is holding its own in the rebounding department this season despite its smaller line-up, thanks in large part to the contributions of junior forward Adrian Uter (Queens, NY). Uter led the entire nation in rebounding last year at Broward Community College in Florida, averaging 15.7 boards to go along with his 18.2 points per contest. He had a 14- rebound performance in Hofstra s win over James Madison on Dec. 4 and is coming off a 13-rebound effort in Wednesday s game against Old Dominion. He is now averaging 6.7 rebounds a game through his first 15 contests to lead the Pride (and rank fourth in the CAA). Uter Finding His Touch: Junior forward Adrian Uter s (Queens, NY) primary responsibilities are interior defense and rebounding, but he has been a solid contributor to the team s offense lately as well. Uter has shot 60 percent or better from the floor in each of the last seven contests, and in nine of the last 10. He is shooting from the floor in the last seven games (73.0 percent) to raise his season s field goal percentage to a team-high 60.0 percent (65.2 percent in CAA games). Block Party: Hofstra fell one block short of setting a school record for blocked shots in a game in its Dec. 22 win over Columbia. The Pride swatted 13 Lion shots, one less than the 14 it blocked against New Mexico State in Junior forwards Aurimas Kieza (Marijampole, Lithuania) and Adrian Uter (Queens, NY) each set their career highs in blocked shots during the contest with six and five, respectively. 6

Thou Shalt Not Score: Hofstra put forth its best defensive effort since in a win over Columbia on Wednesday, Dec. 22. The Pride held Columbia to just 19.3 percent shooting for the game (11-57), including less than 20 percent in both halves. The 40 points were the fewest the Pride has allowed since a win over Rider in and set a new Hofstra Arena record for fewest points allowed in a game: Fewest Points Allowed Hofstra Arena Score Opponent Year Columbia Manhattan Northeastern Boston Univ Towson Gibson Makes Return: Hofstra s overtime loss to Drexel on Saturday, Jan. 8 spoiled a triumphant return for senior center Wendell Gibson (Far Rockaway, NY). Gibson led Hofstra in scoring last season (14.3 ppg), but went down with a knee injury in an home loss to Drexel on January 28. His injury occurred when he pulled in an offensive rebound with 30 seconds left in the game and the Pride clinging to a one-point lead. Gibson was called for traveling on the play, and Drexel went ahead for good with a three-pointer nine seconds later. Gibson had yet to play this season while rehabbing his knee injury, but was finally cleared to play against Drexel. Gibson had a chance for a storybook finish to his comeback, but his potential game-winning jumper at the buzzer of regulation hit off the front rim. He still finished with an impressive 18 points and a career-high tying 11 rebounds in 25 minutes of work, in his first game action in 346 days. Gibson s Board Scores: Senior center Wendell Gibson s (Far Rockaway, NY) presence in the Hofstra line-up makes a difference in a variety of ways, but his biggest significance may be in the team s rebounding. He averaged 6.2 rebounds per game before his seasonending injury a year ago, but his impact went far beyond his individual numbers. At the time of his injury, Hofstra ranked fifth in the country in rebounding margin (+8.2 per game). In the 21 games the Pride played without him (10 last year, 11 this year), Hofstra had a rebounding edge of only 0.3 per contest. Pride #10 In Mid-Major Poll: Thanks to its quick start, Hofstra has returned to the College Insider Mid-Major coaches poll for the first time since the early part of the season. Hofstra was ranked as high as #6 in the poll released on Monday, Jan. 3 before falling back to #10 on Jan. 17. Hofstra was ranked #1 in the College Insider poll at the end of the regular season, when it finished Oh So Close: Hofstra s loss to #7 Syracuse was the best performance that the Pride has ever had against a nationally-ranked team, bettering the defeat it suffered to #22 Gonzaga in The previous season, the Pride picked up a win over Kent State, which was ranked #15 in the Sports Illustrated preseason poll, but which was in the also receiving votes category of the AP and USA Today polls. Kent State went on to reach the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament that season. The Syracuse game wasn t decided until the closing seconds, as All-America forward Hakim Warrick scored on a dunk with 14 seconds left and the shot clock winding down to give the Orange a lead. The Pride led for most of the first 30 minutes and then got back within one point at on a three-pointer from senior forward Michael Radziejewski (Jackson Heights, NY) with less than two minutes remaining. A Warrick three-point play stretched the lead back up to four, and an Adrian Uter (Queens, NY) got Hofstra within two points with 45 seconds left. The Sixth Borough?: Sophomore guard Carlos Rivera (San German, PR) and freshman guard Jorge Lebron (San German, PR) have continued a recent Hofstra lineage of Puerto Rican guards. In , shooting guard Rick Apodaca, who represented Puerto Rico in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, concluded a career which saw him finish ninth at Hofstra in scoring (1,422 points). Apodaca became the first Hofstra student-athlete to ever compete in an Olympic Games, when he took the floor in Puerto Rico s upset win over the United States. In , Hofstra started an All- Puerto Rican backcourt of Apodaca and Jason Hernandez, who also scored over 1,000 career points (at both New Hampshire and Hofstra), on its way to a 26-5 final record. Rivera and Lebron, meanwhile, grew up in the same neighborhood of San German and have known each other since they were in grade school. A Rare Visit: The Pride s home game against St. John s on Dec. 11, which the Pride won in front of a sellout crowd of 5,124, marked the first time that the Red Storm visited Hofstra in 30 years. The last time that St. John s traveled to Hempstead was in , when it captured a win over the Pride. Prior to the Dec. 11 contest, the previous 10 meetings between the schools were all St. John s home games, including a meeting at Nassau Coliseum, which the Pride won That contest was officially a St. John s home game, which amounted to a 2,124-foot road trip for Hofstra. Next Up: The Pride is next in action when it goes on the road for pivotal CAA contests at George Mason and at Towson on Wednesday and Saturday of next week. It then comes home for five of its next six games. 7

Odds And Ends: Some strange, unusual, and sometimes relevant facts regarding Hofstra basketball: Defense Tells The Story: Hofstra has won 41 straight games when holding opponents to less than 60 points, dating back to a loss to Rutgers at the Postseason NIT in The Pride extended that streak with its win over William & Mary on Jan. 5. Then Again, So Does Offense: The Pride is 25-2 the last 27 times it has scored 80 or more points. Strangely, both defeats have been home losses to Drexel, including its overtime defeat on Saturday, Jan. 8. The Dragons also won at Hofstra last year Steal Away: Hofstra has won the last 10 games in a row when it has tallied 10 or more steals, including 6-0 so far this season. Hofstra reached the 10-steal mark in five straight games before seeing the streak snapped against Syracuse on Dec. 30. The Pride only reached 10 steals five times in the entire season, and only once in No Quarter: Hofstra has jumped out to a 10-5 start to the season without relying on any individual scoring barrages. In fact, the Pride is yet to have a player score 25 points in a game this season. Closing Time: It has proven to be very difficult for opponents to come from behind late against the Pride in recent years. Hofstra is 88-4 since when leading with 2:00 to play. Remarkably, it has lost the last two times it has led at the two-minute warning, including on Wednesday to Old Dominion (67-66) and on Jan. 8 to Drexel (84-81, OT). Beyond The Arc: Hofstra has made at least one three-pointer in 243 straight games, dating back to a loss at Boston University in Mom Always Said It Was Good To Share: The Pride has placed five players in double figures four times already this season, which coincidentally occurred in its four CAA games. Should We Try To Miss?: Strangely, Hofstra has been much better from the free throw line in its five losses (68.3 percent) than it has been in its 10 wins (59.9 percent). The Comforts Of Home: Sophomore guard Loren Stokes has shot almost 100 percentage points higher from the floor in home games (.562) than he has on the road (.474). One Of The Keys To Victory: Junior forward Aurimas Kieza (who is nicknamed Keys ) is averaging 12.3 points in Hofstra wins, and only 6.2 points in losses. One Of The Other Keys To Victory: Sophomore guard Carlos Rivera (who is not nicknamed Keys ) is shooting 51.0 percent from the floor in Hofstra wins (46.2 percent on threes), and only 27.0 percent in losses (22.2 percent on threes). Loving The Sunshine State: Hofstra has won the last six road games that it has played in Florida, including its seasonopening win over Florida International on Nov. 21. Hofstra Signs Seven: The Hofstra Men s Basketball program signed seven high school players to national letters of intent during the fall signing period. The seven players include: Chris Gadley, 6-8, F/C (Amherst, NY/Amherst Central HS) Dane Johnson, 6-8, F/C (Brooklyn, NY/Robeson HS) Greg Johnson, 6-0, G (Harlem, NY/Holderness (NH) School) Vic Morris, 5-11, G (Queens, NY/Cardozo HS) Sal Patricio, 6-2, G (Queens, NY/Florida Prep Academy) Arminas Urbutis, 6-9, F (Kaunas, Lithuania/Montverde (FL)) Greg Washington, 6-9, C (Islip, NY/Florida Air Academy) Chris Gadley is a 6-8 power forward from Amherst, NY (outside of Buffalo). He averaged 18 points, 12.5 rebounds and six blocks a game for Amherst Central High School last season, while earning fourth-team All-Western New York honors from the Buffalo News. He is ranked 21st among the best scholastic prospects in all of New York State by Insiders Report. Dane Johnson is a 6-8 center at Paul Robeson High School in Brooklyn, NY, where he averaged 13 points and eight rebounds per game in Among his highlights last season were a pair of buzzer-beaters in big tournament victories, including a dramatic follow-up dunk at the buzzer to upset top-seeded Grady High School in the second overtime at the Brooklyn Borough Championship Tournament. Greg Johnson, a native of Harlem, NY, has played the last three years at The Holderness School in New Hampshire, where he led his team to a New England Prep School Class C Championship last season. A 6-0 point guard, he averaged 14 points and six assists a game as a junior, while reaching the 1,000-point plateau in only two and a half years. He scored 24 points in the Class C Championship game last winter. Vic Morris, a 5-11 point guard, averaged 18 points per game for Cardozo High School last winter, and was chosen the New York Public School Athletic League (PSAL) Preseason Player of the Year by Real Scout Basketball. He was an honorablemention All-Queens selection by the Daily News. Sal Patricio, a 6-2 shooting guard, is playing this season at Florida Prep Academy after starring a year ago at Bryant High School in Queens. Patricio averaged 30 points per game at Bryant, while earning second-team All-Queens honors from the Daily News. Arminas Urbutis is a 6-9 combination forward who traveled from his native Lithuania last season to star at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida. He averaged 17.5 points and 12.3 rebounds last season for Montverde, which enters the campaign ranked 21st in the nation by USA Today. Greg Washington is a 6-9 center who will be attending Florida Air Academy this season. He previously played at nearby Central Islip High School on Long Island. He was ranked among the top 300 recruits in the nation by Hoop Scoop and was chosen to represent Suffolk County in the Coaches vs. Cancer All-Star game last summer. 8
