As most of you know, Ralston Arena closed one sheet of ice our very first week for repairs and logo changes. Now, in our second full week of hockey, Motto has closed down for repairs. ope that s enough of that for a season! We have added a new page to web site that you might want to check out. We now have a preferred vendor providing Omaha ockey Club and Junior Lancer logo d clothing at fairly reasonable pricing. What s more, this vendor is kicking back a nice royalty to OC for every garment purchased through the web page. If you place an order before December 15 th, this provider is giving OC $3 for every purchase! Your Board of Directors has ordered that all these royalties be allocated to the OC ardship Fund; a fund to help defray the hockey cost of families of OC in need. ope you can help; Think Christmas present. 3 Great Clips for air Travel Teams Get New Names In an effort to be more consistently aligned with the majority of teams across the Midwest, Omaha ockey Club has decided to move to A, B and C team designations starting with season. Our teams formerly designated as AA will now be our A teams. Our A teams will now be B teams and our Select teams will now be called C teams. If you have any questions about the new classifications please feel free to contact our Travel Director, Susan Decker at ohctraveldirector@gmail.com Notes from the front office continued and ask those questions only parents new to the sport ask. Both events were well attended; thanks Kyle Salem for putting the program together. Another part of our club off to a great start is the travel teams that are already bringing back hardware from well played tournaments. A special congrats goes out to the players and Coaches of the Bantam A with a Championship win at the Mad City Tournament last week in Madison, Wi.. With six travel teams going in ALL different directions, it s nice to know we have a director as well organized as Susan Decker; thanks Susan for all your hard work. igh School club and most of our house leagues get started with a game schedule before the end of October.
